I am looking for the type of centers that are in some Prima and Recollections flowers. (NOT stamens) They are round and bumpy, and supposedly made of "foam", but they are hard, not squishy. I have a link so that you can see what I mean: Flower centers. All of the flowers but the one way on the right have the centers I am talking about. The little round bumpy thing in the middle. I am looking for a craft store online that sells those centers separately. I have seen stamens made in that fashion, but they are like long, not the little round buttons like in these flowers. It also does not help that i do not know the proper name for them. I have googled "foam flowers centers", "round flower centers", and several other combinations. No luck. They must sell them somewhere, after all, they sell the stamens everywhere. Thanks for any help!

I think your best bet would be to look in the wood craft aisle at HL or Michaels and then just paint them yourself. I don't think you're going to find "flower centers" per se. There's a pea who's husband does laser wood cuts- not sure if he could do a "dome" shape though. He cuts my corners for my mini-albums and does an awesome job. He has also cut some wooden squares for me. PM me if you want more info.

I haven't seen flower centers like these sold separately. What if you take a brad and cover it with beads or microbeads, using Fabri-tac glue? Then you could add the stamens, which can be purchased separately.

wow--I've been cutting these off and throwing them away all this time! sometimes they are too bulky for my projects so I cut them off and replace them with either a button or dab of glitter. I'm not even going to think about how many of these I've tossed.

Same with the ones that have the round pearls and stuff in the middle. I don't like those either.

I wish I could help you. I know exactly what you are talking about though. We have an amazing warehouse up the road from us called Creative Impressions. They carry a ton of scrapping stuff that maybe you could alter. Good luck! creativeimpressions.com/?call=

They are hard foam with tiny foam balls attached to them. There are also some made with tightly wrapped cotton with the foam balls attached (imagine a Q-Tip wrapped tighter). I had about 20 packages of them that I finally threw out that had been my mom's. Look for silk flower crafting supplies. My mom made the most amazing flowers. It was a pricy hobby; but, her arrangements were so beautiful. Good luck.

Can you find some flowers at the Dollar Tree that have the centers you want, then use those?

Prima used to sell lots of flower centres separately but I don't remember seeing anything like these. Hope you manage to track some down!
