How many layouts can you make with one kit or set of supplies before being "over it"? For me it seems to vary but I am usually at 5-7 layouts with a collection kit and some embellishments. I did just complete some layouts by using concepts in Shimelle's perfect collection and made a bunch more than that - around 22 - without being "over it". I didn't follow her exact formula and just cut up papers, made base pages, and then added photos and embellishments.
Also once you are done using a set of supplies, do you keep it together to use again or break it up and put it in your stash? I tend to keep it together if there is still quite a bit left and then "re-visit" it later...

Good question. It depends on how much I'm in love with a kit. Generally I like to at least get a two pager (have a ton of pics to scrap through) and a one pager out of the initial kit. If I'm still loving the papers and colors and not sick of them yet (and have more photos that look good with them), I like to do another single page. I will usually make a card out of the scraps too.
At this point, I'm usually sick of it! If there's still quite a bit left (and I loved the kit), I file it away all together to use when I'm not burnt out on it. If I'm not in love with what's left, even if it's a lot, I break it up into my stash, recycle the itty bitty paper scraps, and throw any other weird leftovers I don't want into a box to give to a teacher friend.

The amount of pictures of one theme will dictate how many layouts I'll complete from a kit. Usually my minimum is two to four. Then I'll stash what's left of the kit in its ziploc until some other pictures come along that would work with it. I haven't gotten burned out using any of my kits yet...maybe because I'm not trying to use it all up in one shot. A little here, a little there is how I roll

Oh, what a fun question! This is especially interesting to me since I am kit obsessed. I always either kit up my own supplies or buy pre made kits (like Cocoa Daisy, Scraptastic or Studio Calico)...I have been scrapping almost exclusively from kits for a couple of years now and I love it! So much time saved!
Anyway, I thought the answer would vary a lot more than it did...the answer is an average of 7 layouts. I have done as many as 10, and as few as 5, but most of the time I do 7 and call it a day. I do tend to keep stuff together, but then I don't use it like that. I am considering going through and dekitting all my already used kits.

I don't buy kits, but I make stash kits (check out my YouTube link in my sig, I've got lots of videos!!) and I seem to be getting 5-8 layouts and about 4-5 cards with a kit, plus some embellishments. I do admit to getting sick of a kit, especially if it was hard to work with in general (I've only myself to blame), but I think it helps that I use only PP for my backgrounds. Since that uses up a whole sheet of paper in the kit right there, the kit gets used faster. I do, sometimes, make my kits way too big and then end up grumbling at myself as to why I've done this! Right now I am working with a kit that I put WAY too much pink in (I'm not a pink person) and honestly I can't wait until I'm done. It's a fine kit, really, just SO much pink at once!

This is pretty much what I do. I love seeing and hearing of all the layouts people can do with a kit but frankly I like to change it up. I may pull the kit out down the road and do another layout or 2 but by then I am done with it & the rest goes to a charity that gets all my scrapbooking stuff.
