If so, what are your thoughts? I thought it was quite bad and many times the plot was just inplausible. I'll watch it one more time, but I don't see this lasting very long.

I watched and will probably continue to watch because I'm a diehard CSI fan. There were a couple of times where I asked myself "is this really doable?" But overall it was cheap entertainment for the night.

I watched.
It was...formulaic? It was as if they jumped from step, to step, to step and there wasn't a good handle on how it all happened.
I will probably watch again once or twice to see if it gets better, but honestly it wasn't good enough to invest a whole lot of time into.

I watched because I love CSI. It was not very good - very forced. I will watch one more time and see if it gets better. So far fetched that I couldn't get into it.

I thought it was just okay. I really like Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Peter MacNichol so I figured I would really like it and I did like them but the story line was just okay to me.
As others said, I will watch it a couple of more times at least just to see.

The ads for the show completely turned me off - after hearing Patricia Arquette say the same line 206 times since they started advertising the show, I started muting the commercial whenever it came on, and didn't really want to hear it again in the show. Plus, I think the whole CSI franchise was played out about 5 years ago.

No, after seeing the previews with Patricia Arquette I just got the feeling it wasn't going to be that good. I like all the other CSI shows but this one just didn't look that good.
Reminds me of all the Law & Order shows, loved those shows but Law & Order Criminal Intent was terrible.

I totally forgot about this show and I'm so disappointed the reviews aren't good. I'll still watch the repeat on Saturday though. Maybe I'll give it one or two episodes. I liked Patricia Arquette's character when she guest starred on CSI that one time.

I have it on DVR and was going to watch it tonight. I have to say, Scorpion's pilot episode was horrible, implausible and formulaic but it's really hit it's stride and now it's a fun show to watch. the cast is more likable now.

I felt like it was made by someone completely different than the CSI people. The lines, the direction, it was all pretty awful and it makes me cry because I love Patricia Arquette and missed her since Medium went off the air. I follow James Van Der Beek and have been soo looking forward to seeing him again as well. I am completely bummed about the pilot. Though maybe it will get better.

It reminded me of Criminal Minds in a way. In both shows a team packs up and goes to where the case is.

I watched.
I really want to like it, so I'll give it my standard 3 episodes before I decide. I like Patricia Arquette, love MacNicol, Van Der Beek & Haley Kiyoko.
It is a bit formulaic. Team goes where the crime is. One team member stays behind. Team leader has some dark thing haunting them. At least one team member is exceptionally brilliant. One team member is a bit rogue.
Like I said, I want to like it. Time will tell.

The least they could have done is found a doll that looked a little more like a baby and made a feeble attempt to rescue the kidnappers. So many things to laugh at that I'm going to watch it again just for those moments.
My son and I were talking about the show last night and we agreed that there are too many other shows that do this type of crime-solving already that it doesn't need its own show, if that makes sense.

So much of their information gathering seems so implausable. The plants "talking"? Ok, maybe there are sound vibrations, but that sounds awfully clear to me. The parts with the doll instead of an actually baby were ridiculous. I'm willing to give it a few shows, but they need to either tone down the techy stuff or make it more realistic.

I will be the outlier. I don't think it was great, but I've also gone back and watched original NCIS episodes and cringed at how bad they were . . . But given time the show improved dramatically. I think the premise is interesting enough that I will give it time and hope the actors and writers hit their stride.

I thought lol bow wow was an odd casting choice, he looks like a child. The technical stuff went over my head so I couldn't follow along as much as I would have liked.

I watched, still not loving it. I didn't have as high expectations this time though, and so wasn't as disappointed like I was with the first.  I will probably give it one more shot, then I am out. |

I watched the last episode and I just cannot get past Arquette's delivery of some of her lines. She's trying to come across as the boss so she when she says "I'm Avery Ryan blah blah blah" I'm rolling my eyes. All she needs to do is plant her fists on her hips and have a cape fluttering behind her.

I watched both episodes and I'm not sure I will continue watching. It really is pretty unbelievable, and I agree that the delivery of some of the lines really seems forced. If it doesn't get cancelled, I might try again after they get in their groove.
