I had already decided I was going to be active on the BB threads this season, so I'm glad to see this thread has appeared! Thanks, Joy! Karenina, I'm not on fb either, so I'll be here to post and hope we can have a regular thread going here. I will probably not be able to get the feeds this year (I live in the middle of nowhere so streaming is difficult), but I do watch the shows, sometimes read at Jokers, and will catch After Dark on TVGuide Network if I am still awake at that hour.
I'm curious to meet the second half of the cast tonight! Before the show started, I thought I wanted to like these people but am already hating half of them, lol. Here are a few random impressions:
Amber - with all that outdoorsy-ness in her intro, she could turn out to be really strong in the comps, and she threw the one last night. She seems like she might be a bit brash which could get her booted sooner rather than later, but if she sticks around, I suspect there will be some good fights coming out of her mouth. I thought it was funny when she introduced herself to the house as a model, but her title says esthetician.
Frankie, despite being shoved down our throats for whatever reason (I'm referring to being cast instead of a fan who auditioned), does seem to be very entertaining and charming.
Devin = Divine, and he's definitely my eye candy for this year. Unfortunately, he's so big and seems too nice, so I suspect he'll be gone before too long.
Donny - I'm glad to see a token "old" person, so I'm hoping he turns out to be interesting. I really want to like him but am not sure he's going to live up to my mind's potential.
Paola - She's so over the top it's funny, but she seems like she might be sharper than I want to give her credit for. I assume I'll hate her, but I'm almost rooting for PaoPao in some strange way.
The role of east coast jock is now being portrayed by Cody. We return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
Nicole - I like that she's a superfan so I can root for her for a bit. Also, I hope I can tell her apart from the Other Blonde With Glasses that we'll meet tonight.
Joey - blue pony seems fairly genuine and likable thus far, but I keep wanting to call her Lydia. I hope that's not prophetic.

So far I think I like this cast. I don't want to make anyone dislike Devin but doesn't he strongly resemble Brennan?! I am very interested in seeing where the rule twist for HOH is going. I can't wait to watch tonight.

Just finished watching the second show. I like the cast, but I am not sure I like the HOH twist. We will see how it goes.
I have the live feeds, but they won't open until midnight my time. Since I must go to work tomorrow, I will have to watch flash back.
It is so funny to me to hear girls say "I am the hotest one in the house", but none of the guys (well the straight ones anyway) are even looking at them.

Soooooo thankful this thread was started,along with the board! I was so sad yesterday at the news and after I got over the initial shock I almost cried when I realized BB was starting and I wouldn't have a place to discuss BB!
I have to watch both episodes tonight, but am so glad to have This thread!

I fully admit that during last night's show, I was frantically trying to find 2Peas and Facebook refreshing every 10 seconds to see if Sarah had accepted my group request so I really missed a lot. Damn 2Peas. I think the Team America thing is an interesting twist. Not sure about HoH though. I don't get feeds so I have to rely on the Peas!

Just watched tonight's episode, not sure I like the HOH twist, I'll have to see it play out a week or so. I think the team America twist will be interesting. Love that Joey got picked for that, I like her.

So glad there is a thread here. I don't have feeds and two small kids but I usually check out jokers often enough.
I can't wait until the drama starts. I like the team America twist but I will reserve judgement on the two HOHs until I completely understand how it works

Yeah I'm not sure about the HOH twist either, have to see how it plays outs. I'm thinking what's the incentive of being HOH if you don't end up being HOH???
I haven't got all the names down yet, so reading Jokers Updates this morning has me all confused.
No live feeds for me, I have this pesky thing called a job that gets in the way!

Frankie nominated Brittany & Victoria, and Caleb nominated Donny & Paola.. Brittany & Victoria won the Battle of the Block comp, which lasted two hours and involved swings, so they're safe and Frankie isn't.. veto comp is Friday.. they also had their Have-not comp and Brittany, Joey, Hayden, Cody moved into the ice room

Add me to the 'glad this board was started and really happy to see this thread'. I loved keeping up with all the BB info in the past was very sad thinking I would miss everybody's input this season.
So far, I am liking Season 16, but we'll see how all the new twists play out.
I don't have the feeds. Am hoping somebody will start a daily live feed thread to update us, as they are the ones that make the whole thing so enjoyable for me!
