Does anyone know (or have better google skills than I do to find out) if the New Girl episode called "Oregon" was actually filmed in Portland? I found a picture of the pedicab scene that was supposedly filmed in California, but I would like to know if any of the episode was filmed in Oregon or not. Completley frivolous, but this know it all at work insists it was and won't let it go. He was telling me it was and I said I needed to get out more because I didn't recognize any of the places they went by. He then told me all of the places he had been too they were by - in great detail- and that the winery where the dinner was held he had looked at for his wedding. I didn't argue with him or try to establish that I was correct, but for the past few days every chance he has he brings it up. Everytime I just kind of go about my work and say, "Cool, I am glad more stuff is filming here." Or something like that, but he is driving me bonkers. I would love to prove him wrong, but heck, at this point just knowing if it was or wasn't would make me happy! He loves to argue with me about stupid stuff, and in the past I have actually engaged when I knew I was right (he once insisted for days that Secret of Nimh was a Disney movie and that Ron Perlman was the voice Of the Beast in the cartoon Beauty and the Beast) but this time I am not engaging and he won't drop it!
Thanks for any help!

I don't know and I couldn't find, definitively, any proof either way (though the comments on The Onion's AV Club review of the episode says it was filmed in L.A.). But I will say this: WTF is going on with all these umbrellas? Pretty sure if they did film in Oregon, someone would have made them put them away. Talk about sticking out like sore thumbs.

That was one of the things my husband and I were laughing about when watching, and I think that may have been what prompted the whole discussion at work! There were way too many umbrellas!

I don't get it? Each person has an umbrella. How is that too many? No snark, just curious Sidenote, Dexter was filmed all over my town in SoCal, but they said that entire show was in Florida. 2nd sidenote, I think these types of husband/wife fights are cute

busypea, ohhhhh! ha, I get it now Thanks! I never use an umbrella, it doesn't rain here much, but I do love walking around in the rain. The rain falling all over me is just fun. Makes me want to hop in a puddle (sorry, that was off topic!)

It is my co-worker who I is arguing with me, he is such a Jack ass and won't let this go! When my husband and I bicker about this stuff it is fun, but my co worker is not making this fun!
