Hi everyone! I've just posted my first scrapbooking process video here: 1st video. I hope you all like it. I've been working really hard on making kits (videos for all those too) and using them up and my husband ended up buying me the cutest little video camera to make filming easier so I thought "why not make process videos?" I love watching them while I scrapbook, so I figured I'd give back, as it were, to the YouTube community and make my own. If you're so inclined it'd be great if you subscribed to my channel. I'm trying to get out a video a day, of various subjects, to keep the channel fresh. Thanks for watching!

What a great video Aeryn! I love your style, and that pooch is a cutie. It was nice to "hear" you!

Thanks, Natalie! I know it's not super long, but I scrapbook quick and I figured that putting the video at anything but 4x would get a bit tedious with all the gluing and whatnot. I'm so happy you liked it! While I'm enjoying making the videos, it's nice to know people watch them too, lol!

I think the length was perfect. I find when I come across a video that's 30 or so minutes long, I can't sit through it all the way because the phone will ring, the dog needs to go out, etc., whatever, lol. It's not that I won't watch them, I just can't get to the end. Also, I truly appreciate you and others that take the time to share your work and process, whether on a blog, or a video. I know it takes a long time, but know that your time and efforts are appreciated!

Thank you for subscribing! Depending on your YouTube settings you'll either get an email when I post a new video, or you'll get one once a week. You can change you settings by going to YouTube, being logged in, and clicking the option on the bottom left that says "manage subscriptions". On the page it brings up you'll be able to choose if you get an email every time a video is posted by the person. I hope that helps!
Natalie: for that reason I like to watch videos while I craft. One of the reasons I do voice overs is because if I didn't, you'd just hear Nicole Jones or Irit Langraf speaking while I scrapbook. I like watching videos while I'm making something because it's like being at a crop without having to leave my house. I can just listen to someone talk and share in the creative experience. For that reason I like long long long videos, but I understand not everyone does/likes the same. I'm just kind of scrapping at my normal speed, putting the video at 4x, and whatever that turns out to be is the video, hehe.

Thank you gals, and thanks for subscribing. I'm so glad you like the videos. I spent a bunch of time last night editing and doing the voice overs so I'll have some pages to put up daily for at least a little while! I have a page on my desk waiting to be made, so I'll be filming and scrapping all afternoon it looks like.

Nice! I watched and subbed as well. I looooove process videos, especially voiced over ones, because I like how the scrapper can give perspective as she watches herself. Like how you said how the background had lines on it and you were trying to line up the hexagons. I couldn't see those lines, so I liked that detail. Or some scrappers will say oh I wish I had left the embellishment there but you'll see I ended up moving it, etc.

Or how I call myself a dork all the time, lol! Thanks for subbing Alissa, I'm glad you enjoyed. I put one up for today and I'll put another up tonight so I hope you like those too.

I subscribed too. I love how your pages are not overly embellished - I feel like they fit my style better than some of the other videos I watch.

I loved your coloring, Aeryn! It was so relaxing to watch you and I love the music. You make coloring with Copics look so easy and I know it's not!
Also, I'm impressed with how much you're able to knock out with your use it up kits! You're plowing through some serious stash!

Great video! Perfect length of time too. Any longer and I would have started drifting.
