If so, what did you think?
I will admit I am a Battle Creek native so when I watched it, I kept finding myself saying things like "there's no alleys in Battle Creek!" (really, there isn't)
I'm finding it somewhat interesting to see what they tried to keep as similar as possible and what is totally made up by Hollywood.
And no, nothing was filmed here. They did film some footage for the opening credits and the background for when they're driving in the car but the rest of it? That's all Hollywood.
Battle Creek has an interesting history and I look forward to seeing if they incorporate some of it into the show. It does look like our World's Longest Breakfast Table is going to make an appearance though.

I forgot to set the DVR but will catch it On Demand. I live about an hour north of Battle Creek so I feel obligated to give it a try

Probably good that they're not filming in Michigan. My DD and I might get arrested for stalking Josh Duhamel.

Josh was on the Tonight Show the other night. He and Jimmy discussed the breakfast table and cereal factories in Battle Creek. I bet you could find his interview online. I have liked Josh since he was on All My Children. I also have it on my DVR.

I have liked Josh since he was on All My Children. I also have it on my DVR. I saw that interview. He got it wrong. We don't have a Cereal Day. We have a Cereal Festival and it's called the World's Longest Breakfast Table. When you watch the show, they show a street sign, Emmett St. We do have an Emmett Street. I read somewhere that they had planned on using some of the street names in the show. In a preview of the episode that includes the Breakfast Table, they did get the signage we use around town right but changed the city's logo. The city paper is not the "Intelligencer." That would require someone at the paper to be intelligent.

Have it on my DVR. cant wait. I hope it does well!! Love Dean Winters. Josh is a beloved native of my hometown. Terrible flooding a couple years ago and his wife Fergie and the entire band Black Eyed Peas did a fundraising concert. That band could have been anywhere in the world playing but they came to our town and put on a whole show. Not just a small one the entire thing!! The energy was amazing!! Lots of people from all around including myself went and it really raised a lot of money and also lifted the spirits of the town.

I watched, but wasn't overly impressed. I couldn't buy into the premis that the police force was so broke they could afford batteries but that the FBI would open up this state of the art office and send their best guy there.

That was the part that bugged me too. I'm supposed to believe that a police force that serves a city of 50,000 people is so broke that they can't have decent equipment? Which btw isn't true. Our force has several brand new cars with top of the line equipment in them. I'll give it a few more watches simply because I like Dean Winters and I want to see the two NCIS alum do well (Liza Lipira and Meredith Eaton).

I also felt like at the beginning it was kind of amusing that they didn't have the equipment, etc., but then when the FBI guy showed up, they lost that little bit of humor. Plus the FBI guy was portrayed as a jerk at first, then towards the end of the show, they sort of backed off that too.

This was my feeling as well. I just didn't work for me. I'll give it one more episode, but I doubt I'll continue.

As a huge Vince Gilligan fan, I was excited to see Battle Crrek. I believe he came up with this series before he did Breaking Bad. But, it was just ok. Now Josh D. is a dreamboat. I may watch a few more just to get an eye candy fix.
