I'm going to lunch with a friend to the local steakhouse. Their lunch special today is a hot turkey sandwich made with white bread, cut in half with a scoop of homemade mashed potatoes between the sandwich halves and the whole thing is smothered in homemade turkey gravy. It's a local favorite After a lunch like that I won't be hungry at dinner time. I've been wanting to try my pressure cooker to hard boil eggs so I'll do that and make egg salad. Then I can have an egg salad sandwich on toast with romaine whenever I do feel hungry. I'm also going to bake a big batch of sugar cookies so I'll be munching on those too What are you having tonight?

Something meatless, because it's Lent. I'm not sure if I'll stop somewhere after work, or just reheat some spaghetti that I made for lunch.

DS is playing in the PowerBuff Volleyball tournament at the high school tonight, so he will have Jimmy John's before he goes, and he will pick up a sandwich for DH while he is there. I just had a huge lunch, and I need to reign in my eating again, so I will probably just have PB toast or a bowl of cereal after the tournament.

DH and I made lasagna last night and we have leftovers, but I will probably have a tuna sandwich since I'm having a bit of a pregnancy aversion to lasagna. Which is funny cuz I love the stuff!

I'm going with chicken enchiladas tonight ... I buy the enchilada sauce in the USA every summer because we can't get a lot of the brands here and I'm too lazy to make my own

I think we may have rigatoni and meat sauce and beer bread. My youngest has a free family movie night tonight at her school and she is very excited for that, so I will start cooking early so we can head right out the door.

Pork Carnitas stew with hominy and garlic bread. It's basically menudo without the beef tripe.

I am still at my daughter's home visiting. She is nauseous from the pregnancy so I am keeping things simple. Fried ham, brussel sprouts with parmesan cheese, corn, cauliflower au gratin and hot rolls. I can't eat the high carb items but it is helping to ease her upset tummy so it is on the menu.
Yesterday at the end of the meal my 2 year old grandson turned to his Mommy and said, "I am proud of you Mommy for putting food in your tummy for the baby!" Awe!!!!

We have an eclectic mix tonight - California rolls and chili nachos. I promised DS the nachos, but am not feeling the love for them myself tonight and remembered to cook the rice early enough for it to cool before dinner.

DSO got a $200 restaurant gift card for his birthday last month. I'm currently perusing the list of restaruants where we can use the gift card to work out where to go tonight. Our favorite restaurant is on the list but I'm thinking we should try somewhere different. I can't make up my mind!

My plan is to make chicken chili and cornbread, but I'm so damned exhausted I feel hungover. Maybe it will be pizza instead, although, I should just get my act together and start cooking and get it over with
