I prefer something new out of the box if available at this point. I have googled and checked eBay nut no luck. Thanks in advance!

You are wanting the Cameo2 with the LCD touch screen? Amazon has them for $269 with free shipping for Prime users.
They have several bundle deals - if you are going to get a bundle, get the one that has extra blades and mats. The vinyl they sell is junk and the tools are nothing special.

OK. They are dwindling down. Consumer Crafts had it for $149, but they are sold out. Micheals online is sold out also. Walmart.com aslo shows them sold out. Hobby Lobby online only has the newer machine also.
You might need to search in stores at this point. They have been working to clear the inventory of the original Cameo.

My Michaels had one a few weeks ago. Check yours if you haven't already!

Why do you prefer that version? I want a silhouette but haven't really looked into it much

So I checked out a comparison video on YouTube and the only differences between both machines are minor esthetic differences and control panel, which I have heard some people are having issues with. The blade is still the same and cuts are the same. So I see no justification to spend another $100 or so for the new version.
If someone knows of other differences, please chime in. I would love to know.

Forgot to mention that I own the original digital cutter that Silhouette came out with-before the cameo. I hate using it because it is extremely noisy.
