There are lots of us in here who speak everything under the sun. Would anyone be interested in language classes? It wouldn't be difficult. We would have a thread every week and have sentences and then conversations we could learn. My speciality is Japanese which isn't an easy language but it isn't impossible either.
I would love to take some more Spanish classes if some native speakers wanted to offer them.

I've always wanted to learn Japanese! My boyfriend is fluent and lived in Japan for a year. The only Japanese I know are the martial arts terms we use frequently and I've now learned to respond appropriately to 'what time is it?' I've signed up for a bunch of different online programs, but I really think I'd learn it best in a classroom setting, there just aren't many places that teach Japanese Where did you learn Japanese?

The boys are leaving this weekend to visit my parents for a month and I've promised myself I would dust off my remedial Spanish before we all go to Cuba in July.

I took French in high school and I wish I remembered it better. I would love to brush up on my French and was thinking of getting Rosetta Stone. Has anyone tried it?

I'm set to learn basic Lithuanian since my partner's family is of that lineage.
Rosetta Stone is quite good. I would recommend it for French if you can't get into conversational classes.

Well I can teach you Japanese if you want to learn it. My degree is in it and I lived there for 10 years. ExDH doesn't speak any English so that is all we speak when we have to talk to one another.
We can do a Japanese 101 class.
Rosetta Stone is supposed to be very good but it is expensive for sure.

I would love to learn Spanish since it's becoming such a prevalent language.
