I bought a 15" Silver Bullet cutter a few months ago to replace my much used and well worn Pazzles Pro. I was hoping that it would fit in the carry bag for the Pazzles, but no go, the Silver Bullet is taller. A couple days ago I had to run in to Costco to get one thing, and wouldn't you know it but they had a set of FUL rolling duffle bags for $60. The whole top of the bigger one zips open like a suitcase and the inside top compartment zips open as well to create the needed height inside to accommodate the cutter. I bought it knowing that if it didn't fit I could bring it back. (Gotta LOVE Costco's return policy!) Turned out I didn't need to, because it fits like a glove! Now I'm going to run to Home Depot for a piece of 3" thick foam cushion for the inside, and I will still have paid less than half of what the Pazzles carry bag cost 12 years ago! And since I know this thread would be useless without a photo, here you go! Pretty awesome! Plus there is plenty of room inside for cables, accessories, mats, etc. even once I get the foam in there. Just thought I'd share since there are so many people who like to travel with their machines and there just aren't a lot of good options for inexpensive carry bags available. ***And and just now, I checked and the smaller bag in the set will hold 3 Iris or Options bins! Double bonus!

great solution! I like thinking out of the box for scrapbook stuff. sometimes manufacturers repackage stuff as scrapbook related and charge more than if you bought the exact thing as a regular household item. just because they make something in pink or teal doesn't make it exclusive to the scrapbook world. I bet you if they took that exact bag and made it in pink and sold it at a LSS, they would charge so much more for it and instead you got it for a fair price elsewhere. good for you!

Part of why the Pazzles bag was so expensive is because it was designed to fit their machine specifically and I'm sure it wasn't a huge run when they had them made. Smaller quantities of anything = a higher price per piece. My friend who sells the Silver Bullets looked into having bags made for her machines but the cost would be prohibitive because of the relatively small run. She ended up buying a Tutto sewing machine case to tote her personal machine around, and even those bags are $$$. I'm just happy that I won't have to haul it around in the giant cardboard box it came in, especially when I take it to retreats and crops.
Ha ha, if it would have come in pink I would have been ALL over that!

LOL at FurryP! Great deal on the bag! That machine looks awesome, too. If you don't mind my asking, how much did the machine cost?

I bought it from my friend Sherri at That's Scrap, Inc. The 15" one like I bought sells for $949 but I also bought the acrylic trays and several additional accessories that I knew I'd need from my years of cutting experience (pen tool, engraving tool, click blade holder) so that brought my cost up some. It's more expensive than a Cameo but it's a professional quality machine which is what I needed for production work (quieter, faster, more force). You can find more detailed information about the Silver Bullet Cutters here along with an online comparison chart: Silver Bullet Cutters

Awesome find! And I used to be in some cutter forums over the years, and the Silver Bullet line of cutters have always gotten rave reviews. For anyone who is trying to run a business (signs, personalized items, etc.) it's a great machine!
