I've been reading reviews at Zappos and other sites. They get very +++ reviews.

I thought I'd seen that type of thing advertised in a yoga magazine. Then a pp mentioned Sanuk - that's what they were! So I think they'd look good coming and going from yoga class .

Well I say NOT. But that maybe because I have a pair . I got a coral pair last summer. They are super comfy and the base is made out of yoga mats. I fully intend to wear the heck out of the hideous things again this summer lol.

I own a pair of black Sanuks, so, shocker--I don't find them ugly. They're also extremely comfortable and not hot in the least, as someone suggested upthread. I love all the different fabrics they have now.

Monica- yes! If you don't need arch support, these will be just fine. A few years back, I got a pair of those pricey chacos and wore them to Disney. My feet hurt so bad after get first day, I switched to my soft squishy Nike Celso flip flops and my feet were happy the rest of the trip. I would definitely wear my sanuks!

I think it would depend a lot on the shape of the wearer's legs. I think they would be hideous on me, but I bet they look trendy on some people. Hope you end up liking them!

conchita, it's all your fault that I've been searching sites for the best deal! I'm hoping to find a gray/black pair. So far Shoebuy (I think) offered the best price after the 20% discount code. I don't think the gray/black was an option though.

If any military Refupeas are interested, I know that my Navy Exchange carries Sanuks - yours might too!

I have them in grey and I love them! Super comfortable. I really like the ones Elaine has. Maybe it's time for a new pair.

The yoga slings really have a very cushy sole and are better for me than regular flip flops because they stick to your feet much better: they don't flop due to the sling going over your heel and the fabric strap over your arch.

I think they are cute. Is that piece right above the toes made of plastic? Does it rub against the top of your foot?

Would this be an okay shoe to wear to walk all over the parks? My Sanuk yoga slings are my go-to shoes for Disneyland. My feet stay cooler than they would in sneakers or boots, and they're much much more comfortable than any other sandal I've ever worn there (and we've been going frequently for about four years).

I was just in Sportmans Warehouse tonight and they had a big selection of Sanuk, including these sandals. I don't have a pair yet but I think I'm going to buy some this summer. They are super comfortable. I have three pair of regular Sanuks. I love the brand.

I saw those in a store last summer & had to try them on - and have to say they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet (that didn't have a heel LOL)

I gave these to my dds (ages 17-23) last Easter. They lived in them all summer long and got lots of compliments on them. They easily go in the wash too. I knew they would be a hit though, since Sanuk shoes are one of their favorites.

Ok now since you added a foot pic I gotta say I really like them! I'm wondering if the toe part would be too thick between my toes though.

We have a very 'unusual' yellow, black and white dress. You kind of look like a bumblebee in it. Someone wanted to buy one. It was her favourite colours. You know what? If it made her feel good wearing then it's all good. Same with the shoes if you like them then they are you. I sold some horrible fitting pants to someone once. They were also 2" too short on her. She was bent on getting these short waisted pants that I said don't fit me (I am long waisted). She and i are the same size. She was way too tall for our target market, but she loves these pants and came back and bought more. They are 2" too short and very tight on her. She loves them. If she is happy then my job is done. I showed her other things. Nothing was as nice as they were because she is so "short waisted" and she was as happy as a clam. She also told me no one is allowed to call her at home ever except me, and only I am allowed to serve her when she comes in the store. I liked her because she is so direct. If someone asks for the God honest truth I will give it gently or advise something else. If they have their heart set on something they are going to buy it. Moral of the story, I don't have to wear the shoes. If you love them then that is your decision right there

I think the shoes are fine for the outfits you described. They look casual and comfortable--and a bit nicer than regular old Old Navy $2 flip flops that I see everywhere!

In the 2 pictures they look better on the model than on their own. ETA: I have just seen elaine's pictures and I really quite like them!
