Have any of you tried the new Sizzix inksheets? I watch the videos and think they look really cool. I ordered a kit off eBay and hope they come quickly.

My sheets arrived and I've had an opportunity to play with him a little bit. They work great with my thin metal dies. The instructions say you can also use them with embossing folders but I've not tried that. The sheets I received and the starter kit are small. And I've not found a local place to buy them. They are available on eBay. I think they will be a fun addition to my collection.

Do you think it would work with carbon paper?

Do you think it would work with carbon paper? Do they still make carbon paper? I would worry about it smudging when the object was colored. I thought I remember right, carbon paper did smudge.... The paper did remind me of carbon paper and works just like it. And the instructions that even said you could use it to write on

Yes it is still available at any office supply store. I know the carbon paper freely gets ink on you, but I don't ever recall carbon copies smudging. Would the new tool work with brass embossing templates?

Would the new tool work with brass embossing templates? I haven't tried it with a brass plate. What I think what happened is that where the solid brasses you get an impression and it would be a clear where the holes are. You would have ink where normally you would have negative space if used it for embossing

Paper first, brass plate, carbon paper.
