UPDATE: I guess not. Looks like they extended it until July 24th. Oh great....this is going to be the long farewell.... According to their farewell message, July 10th is their big date. I deleted my 2peas bookmarks on all of my devices a day or two after they announced they were closing. I suppose I could have lingered until then but I didn't. I didn't save my gallery. I didn't download any videos. If they were done, I was done.
How does everyone else feel? Are you glad to be done with 2peas? Are you sad? Are you still in shock?

I didn't save anything, I realized even though I was always bookmarking things I never went back to them. I did rely on googling topics with twopeas next to it and could always find some old thread on whatever I was looking for.

Since we have this board, the only thing I will be sad about is losing the gallery. I did bookmark layouts for scraplifting. I always enjoyed the inspiration in the gallery.

I think I'm OK with it. I'd bookmarked a lot of things, but I never really went back and looked at them. I didn't find it necessary to save anything.

I hope I don't regret not saving. I'd deleted my layouts years ago after an old acquaintance contacted me.

I am really going to miss the archive of topics. I needed a recipe that I knew I had seen on 2 ps, so googled it and found it very easily. When I had questions about anything, I'd search the NSBR forum and more often than not, would find what I was looking for. That huge, huge resource will be gone and it makes me very sad.

I posted a little while ago about this, I cleaned out the rest of my bookmarks this morning. I printed a bunch of threads that had recipes in them.

I didn't save anything either. I doubt I'll miss it.

I didn't go back after around the third day of our home being in place.
eta: I don't miss the bucket. What made it special for me was the people, and now that we are all here this place is special!

My shock over the closing has worn off and I am so happy to now be part of this community! It's awesome here. I moved my gallery over to scrapbook.com but also saved copies of the first and last layouts I ever posted on 2Peas. I also saved my badges and profile screenshot and have since done a layout about their demise using all those pieces . It was good for getting over the shock, anger...whatever range of emotions I was feeling about their closing. As far as bookmarked threads, I didn't keep any of those.

I only ever frequented the NSBR, and now that we're all over here, I'm okay with it.

Row Yep pretty much says it all for me as well. I have been back maybe three times just to see if they posted anything else.. I will miss the gallery and not sure why they can't give it to Scrapbook.com or something like that. Or just keep it up or whatever...

While I doubt I'll miss it terribly, I can't help but feel a bit nostalgic about its demise. This place is great (even better, mayhap?), but it was a website that I went to nearly every day for more than a decade. I do feel a wee bit sad.

I went through and saved a few things, but I never really referred to them while I had them, so I figure it's no big loss. Did anyone order things from them at the closing sale? I have never ordered from them, but I did order a few things from the sale, hope I get them....

I haven't saved anything. I might save a few recipes today, but with Google and Pinterest, I think I can find anything. I will miss the history of the place.

I'm feeling nostalgic about that place and my history with it, but I'm so glad to be here! Like someone else said, it's all about the people. This introvert loves all of you!

I had a few things in the gallery, but I have the hard copies here and once I stopped scrapping, I never really looked at it anyway. So I won't miss it. We have this board now, and that's fulfilling my 2Peas needs!

I had some stuff bookmarked but rarely went back to look at it so I'm just letting it go...plus a few important recipes I would have wanted are already posted here. I feel the people made the board not the owners and we are here now so it's all good. The one thing I'm kinda sad about is the people who may not know what is going on and where the new board is. Maybe they were on vacation or sick or just not on the boards daily. I know I haven't seen a few posters on here that were always on the other board. Maybe they have a new name...who knows.
I'm happy here and happy someone made this out new home.

There was a lot of speculation prior to their closing so it wasn't a big surprise, but it saddened me. I was a major lurker, I've probably posted more here in a week, than I did there in 10 years. But without you even knowing it, you helped me with so many things. You all made it what I would have missed, and I'm happy to have found this group now.

I am a little worried I will suddenly have a question that could easily be answered over there, but oh well I will just have to ask it again over here.

This is our new home. I'm happy here. I looked last night and there's nothing past June 26th anyway.

I did go and clean out my bookmarks - deleted most of them, but did save a handful to go back through later - mostly book threads.
I did d/l a bunch of videos (mostly Glitter Girl) to watch. I never watched them the first time around, but thought it might be fun to go back and watch some later.

I didn't save anything, I realized even though I was always bookmarking things I never went back to them. I did rely on googling topics with twopeas next to it and could always find some old thread on whatever I was looking for. Same here. I did move my (small, pitiful) gallery over to Scrapbook.com, but I will miss the history of 2peas, and the ability to search on older topics. I know one day this place will be built up with a similar history (and 2peas made it difficult when they stopped archiving past 6 months), but there's a part of me that is still pissed off they couldn't just leave it up the way it was. I guess they'd have to pay for that server tho? I emailed one of the peas I enjoyed seeing on the boards, but she never emailed me back, and I don't know if she moved over here or not...

For some reason 2 Peas seems so yesterday compared to this place. I like the newness of this forum and am so glad that many lurkers have felt comfortable coming out to play.

Strangely enough, I'll miss the Two Peas app icon on my iPhone home page. I mean, I could keep it there but I moved it to the last page to be nostalgic.
I do have this board bookmarked but it's not very cute!

cindosha - many of those old threads have been carefully copied and pasted to the History Board here. And I have many more that I have copied to my home computer that I will upload as I have time. Take a look at the history board.

That's me too. I did like the inspiration from the gallery, but oh well, I don't scrap anymore anyway and I have all my LOs on my computer so no need to transfer them anywhere.

I was on vacation when I saw the news - thanks to everyone who started this - and thanks much for the info on saving our Pea Badges. TwoPeas (now 2Peas) has always been my little go to community - so glad the pod is alive and well ETA - I'm on a quest to save the badges I always meant to grab - Birdgate, etc. I was there! LOL
