I downloaded my fonts again, just to make sure I have them. I brought my layouts over to Scrapbook.com. I didn't check my bookmarks though. I doubt there's anything there though. I sure never went back to check that stuff out again after I bookmarked it.

I only care about us, the people.
All the free videos, products, and assets of 2peas will come in the future from other locations, other sites, but you and me, all of us, we are irreplaceable.
We are what made that place special. Our friendships, our sense of community, our ties to each other. That's what was special about 2peas. As long as we're together, it doesn't matter what internet address we log in together under.
This is exactly how I feel!

Stupid question - do we have to download the videos or will the channel still be accessible on YouTube?

I only shopped there a few times, with the price of shipping it just didn't make sense to me. I make due with what I can find locally most of the time. I did purchase one of Shimelle's kits because I enjoyed her videos and wanted to support her. I still haven't used the kit, so I guess I really didn't need it after all .
I won't miss NSBR because most of it is right here! I do think it was rotten of them to just dump us with no warning.

I will and have missed Glitter Girl on Wednesdays. I always watch Shimelle's videos on her blog but they tend to be shorter and they aren't done as regularly. Maybe that will change now though. Other than that.... meh. This forum is much nicer and the people are here and that is all that matters.

I haven't been back since they announced the closing. I had a ton of things bookmarked but didn't bother to go back to save anything.

I went back and saved some of my bookmarks, mostly some recipe threads. I have tried to save the recipes in Pepperplate.com but I know some might be missing. Chances are, the recipes I cared about have already been brought to this board so I probably don't need them. I also imported my layouts to scrapbook.com. I didn't have many that I posted but I wanted to keep them.

Zip, zap, done... I am neither surprised by or care about the crazy actions of the closing. I enjoy the people and the discussions, and that's why I'm here.

Two Peas even with all its problems was a neat place to be. I will never forget being on there. Between my mental health crises and friendships made and scrapbooking, the Peas have never let me down.
I am sad we have lost some good ones. I am happy some have had babies and babies and life has gone on!
I am thankful for this place as I have somewhere fun to be on the internet with the same people. <3

I had over 400 bookmarks waiting to be filed, and a couple hundred already organized into folders. I didn't even bother trying to keep any of them. Just too many to deal with.

I was over there yesterday grabbing videos and some stuff from the gallery. i noticed that there were very close to 1.5 or 1.6 million items in the gallery and what a waste it is that they are just going to dump it all. I am hoping that it will still show upon the internet wayback machine and i can still see the gallery there.
That said, I am so glad to see so many familiar names here and grateful that the pod is reforming it's self here.

Stupid question - do we have to download the videos or will the channel still be accessible on YouTube? We don't know what will happen with the youtube channel. It takes no effort to block a channel or block videos so I wouldn't count on them remaining accessible after tonight.

I'm glad to be here.
I'll admit to having a bit of a twinge of sadness at the demise of the pea board, after all I had been there for more then 11 years and that place saw me through some really rough times.
But then I remember how they just locked us out without a word like a big "f you" and I feel like telling them to stuff it, we're happier here.
So ya, a bit of mixed feelings over here.

I would be more upset if we had not found a new place to meet. Some of the things I enjoyed about NSBR, I don't share with anyone IRL, Survivor, Big Brother and conversations I cannot have with my very conservative family.
My mind has been opened to new ideas and perspectives and I have discovered I am not so weird after all.
These are just a few of the reasons I intend to continue on this board.

I discovered Two Peas less than a year ago, but I jumped right in. I posted almost every day, participated in swaps, joined the stamping week challenges and bought things from the store (when they had things). There's nothing else like it, and I'm so glad I found you all before it went away. The Gallery was an amazing archive of everything the Peas created, and to me, it's a huge loss.

I actually like it here better than 2peas, but feel a vague sadness about the finality of it ending.

I'll miss it but not nearly as much now that we've all gathered here. I saved everything I wanted to save within the first day or so and haven't been back since.

I think I'd be really sad if this board hadn't started--but knowing that this is in place, I'm absolutely OK with it. I do feel bad that there are likely tons of Peas who don't know about it. I spent about a half an hour last night and Peamailed about 30 people I didn't see on the list--getting their names from older threads. Some didn't open the mail, but SEVEN people said they hadn't heard of it. I hope people keep finding us.

it seems like some has ended today (July 9). just tried to go look at some of the free classes and videos and get 'internal server error'. it's so sad they folded. If the shopping part worked better, I would've spent plenty.
And while most so far are peas from the past, going forward the newcomers won't be peas or refupeas...so what will they have to identify with?

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered, but will the store close at midnight EST tonight or tomorrow night? I've been working on pinning some layouts I liked and then a few threads that just crack me up no matter how many times I read them.

11:59:59 Thurday in Central time zone. BUT, don't count on what you want being available. It says "Semi operational" They are free to shut down anything and leave just one thing up to that time. If you have things to save get it done now.

I had 6 pages of saved threads. I went back through them and saved half a dozen. Some were nostalgic like when we put our sweet Kellie down 2 years ago. Some were informational such as what kind of blush to use. One in particular has me wondering what happened to a certain Pea's husband. The author of the thread was Merry67 and she was afraid her husband had early-onset Alzheimer's. They were supposed to get test results in a few days but she never posted the results. Does anyone have an update? I don't know if she's on the new board.

I will miss some of the people, some of whom I only knew through the discussion boards. There were a few who have died, and then there are all of us that lost someone ourselves. Even the loss of a relationship, a marriage or the loss of a pet could be handled easier because of the support we gave each other.
Even the fraud artists, the possers and the scams, they were small in comparison to the many good things that came from a group that had only a few things and a couple activities in common to start.
I did one LAST visit, copied a couple more threads I had bookmarked. Thought about deleting everything, but "why bother?"
I will still miss a few women that dropped off the boards.
Good Bye Two Peas in a Bucket, it was for a time, fun. Now all things come to an end.

I wish they would have been adults in closing the message boards and given us some warning, I was a lurker(unregistered) until 2001. My original pea# was in the 5000's until they did a reshuffling ( ). I visited 2peas almost daily and although I didn't post much I did follow the peas. I love the new refugeepeas and I'm making an effort to post more. I only has 292 more posts to hit 3000.

I also bookmarked a bunch of stuff but never went back to them so I didn't bother saving any of them.
I will miss being able to search for any subject at anytime, that I did all the time!!

I just printed out the goodbye message, and my pea badges. I don't know if I will use them for anything, but I wanted to have them just in case.
