I got circles, ovals , squares and stars 3 stamping up dies all flowers 2 big xl large dies that are scalloped card 1 and 3 so 7 X 6x6 and 2 X 6x12 All with tax for $40 I'm debating stopping there a couple more times to see if they put more out if more was dropped off. But that seemed like a lot I don't think there would be much more.
Its a little out of my way but not horribly.

Wow, great find!
I found a NIP Martha Stewart spiderweb border punch for $3.75 at a thrift store recently. (And went into the Micheal's right next door and saw the same thing for $17.00)
Scrappy finds at thrift stores are very few and far between for me.

we go to value village every week at least 2 of the 3 that are around us. I have never found a find like this. I'm thinking this was an accidental donation. And if it wasn't where is the machine? the only other scrapping stuff was a K&Co paper kit and 2 older scrapbooks one for baby and one for school. I am really thinking I will stop tonite and tomorrow on way home.
The only other great find I had was a zyron brand new refill for $1 they had the machine but I didn't need it.
I find stamps and such but even though I love stamps I haven't bought many I have found. They are just not my type. OH wait I bought a bag that had sookwang full sheets of adhesive I think a pack of 8 and a ton of jolee's for you.
But again few and far between on the finds
Punches are a great find.

that is a GREAT scrappy thrift store find!! I only ever had one thrift store that would sometimes have good scrappy / crafty stuff, but it's way out of my way now. It's only a few blocks from where I used to work so I would go on my lunch, but it's just not easy for me to get there any more.
eta:
I take that back; I will sometimes go to Bookman's, which is a bookstore where you can donate your books, music, dvds, craft supplies and get store credit to shop with, or buy with cash. They have a pretty decent crafty / scrappy section, and they usually have quite a selection of rubber stamps for anywhere from 25 cents (individual stamp)to $5-$7 (SU sets, sometimes brand new). But I don't stamp any more, so I try really hard not to get sucked into buying any of them.

Once found stampin up stamp sets that had been unmounted and packed in plastic bags. They sold them for $.50 apiece. I bought eight sets. My dream is to find the Stampin' Up! stamp holder. No luck so far.

I work with someone who loves to shop thrift stores. She has brought me so much stuff (mostly albums) that I had to beg her to stop because I have no more space to store them.

Wow, it sounds like you got some great, usable dies! I would have bought those too. I love that I can cut fabric and chipboard etc. with my big dies. There's a local thrift chain here that has a small arts/crafts area that I always check out! I've also donated my excess stuff to them. One time I bought some journaling stamps (clear) by Autumn Leaves to use in my PL pages. They were .50 so I couldn't pass them up Years ago I found a baby bug Cricut (original one) at Goodwill. I didn't need one, but I bought it for a teacher friend of mine who admired my Expression. It came with a cart that was pretty basic. George maybe? She was over the moon excited! I think I paid $15-20 for the machine and cartridge. She is still using it for her classroom stuff and has collected a nice stash of carts from ebay and sales!

Value Village is a chain / brand name of thrift stores, associated with Saver's I believe (if you have those)... we have mostly Savers here, but there is one Value Village that I know of in the West Valley. (I never find good craft stuff there, but I do find good clothes there!)

OK so more albums have been put out. Brand new still in sealed box crop hopper sticker storage. Didn't buy it. Was only $4 too. There was a new style stamp in up set in a bag if other stuff. Was suppose to be 5 red rubber cling there was only 4. They were small sets and I really only liked one so didn't buy. It was $3 but for a small stamp that really wasn't a deal. Thinking tomorrow I go again I think someone just decided they were done with the hobby

We don't have any chain thrift stores in my little town, just one for the Humane Society, Pink Ladies, one that benefits the women's shelter and one run by a church for people in need. Not very often do I find scrapbooking stuff but I've been luckier in the last 6 months.
I've gotten a $59 Ottlite Craft Caddy for $8, a Sizzix Embosslit die for 10 cents, 2 inch stack of orange 11x17 cardstock for $2, 4 wood Stampin Up stamp blocks for 50 cents total, a small twirling holder that I use as a mini clip-it-up for my favorite nested dies, another little stand that I hang dies and stuff on, a box (13Wx9.5Hx4.5D) with two rows and dividers to hold your finished cards, brand new package of assorted fibers, 8 rolls of foils (2 green, rest red) from 1989 that are the same thing that is used in the Minc for practically nothing, didn't even know what I had for a few months until I watched the video that Naby64 posted by Jennifer McGuire! I got a bunch of retired Stampin Up stamp pads and several scrapbooking books not magazines, books. I've found more stuff recently but can't think at the moment.
I really like what I found Friday, for $2. I got a little wire cart that I was going to use like so many other people use the Raskog cart. Thought my cart was much smaller at 16 inches wide x 11 inches deep x 25 inches high but it isn't that much smaller, checked the Raskog and it is 17.75 x 13.75 x 30.75 so it isn't THAT much smaller! I've got my stamp pads in the bottom two baskets and my most used border punches, round the page punches and corner punches and other tools on the top. The baskets hold a 15 inch x 6 inch and a 15 inch x 3 inch Rubbermaid drawer divider tray in each which is perfect for my stamp pads. In fact, stamp pads were already IN them in a drawer. The nice thing is, it slides under my desk along with my chair when not in use and if I had the Raskog, it wouldn't go under my desk.

I always look when I'm in thrift stores for scrappy items. I have found many gems over the years. My latest was some back issues of Scrapbooks ETC. It was the same store I found Cricut magazines and refills for my Xyron machine.

sounds like you've gotten some good finds, AngieandSnoopy! (might I ask, what did you do with a 2-inch stack of orange cardstock?!? ) When DH needed to make paper airplanes for a college assignment (he is going to college late in life to become a teacher), I gave him orange cardstock. When he needed to make notebook dividers, they were orange! When I want to do die cut samples, they are orange! When I need cardstock backing in my stamp envelopes, etc., it is orange. Shims for dies and so on! Fortunately, it isn't a vivid orange, in Bazzill paper, it is the Mandarin orange color. The cardstock marked orange is MUCH darker. It is nice to have cardstock that I don't CARE if it gets messed up! And it is 11 x 17 inches so that is a LOT of cardstock, like 4 inches in 8-1/2 x 11 inch cardstock!
