What one do you prefer? Which is the cheapest to refill? What are the pros and cons to the one you own? Where can I buy the one you like?

I have bought several, and I am now trying to Scotch ATG. I haven't really looked for refills yet, but earlier I remember reading posts that people said you could find it online. It's big and bulky, and take some getting used to. I find I keep reaching for my mono aqua glue instead.

I have the Scotch ATG 714--I've had it for years. It took getting used to but I love it!

I keep going back to my Scotch ATG 1/4". I have been in the situation to have to buy something to use for a unexpected project, and they just do not hold as well at the atg. I hate giving gifts or cards to someone when I am not confident something will not fall off.
With the atg, I never have doubts. And contrary to what some might say, you can lift it back up to reposition/correct as long as you don't smash it down right away.
I think you can still get a ATG at Michaels with a coupon. I have not looked, but I did get the refill there not too long ago.
Which is the cheapest to refill? I only refill mine, so I don't know about others. I use a coupon at Michaels and the rolls are large. What are the pros and cons to the one you own?
Pros: adhesive holds well big value for the adhesive roll size compared to others Yes, it's bigger than your normal gun, but you also don't lose it under paper, or items while you are working.
Cons: None for me, but you might need to watch a few youtube vids to learn how to replace the roll, and how to use it. But neither is a big deal. Unless you have 5-yr old's hands or carpal tunnel, the size is not a big deal either.

I've been using the 1/4" ATG for about 10 years. I get the refills from Tape Depot (I don't use the Scotch brand). I make lots of cards so I like that there 36 yards of adhesive and I'm not constantly refilling. I've never had anything fall apart using this tape.

I have the yellow atg and prefer it over the pink because the tape is 1/2" instead of 1/4". Just a personal preference I guess but I sold my pink atg and just kept the yellow. Am very happy with it.

Another Scotch ATG 1/4" user here. Its's been a long time since I've bought refills. I bought a box of 24 rolls several years back, went on a long break, and still have some. Tape Depot maybe or direct from where I bought the gun. I know it wasn't Scotch.

I have the pink ATG and carpal tunnel and love it! Really great to use. I use only Scotch General Purpose tape and the acid free from a group buy, think it was from Tape Depot. The Scotch Acid Free tape has so much chemical smell that I can't stand it. I even put it out in the garage opened for a month and it still stunk, just not quite as bad.
Keep your EMPTY Scotch reel and put it on TOP of the full reel when you refill. Works great with either Scotch OR the generic to make the tape run right along the left edge which is great for right handed people. Not sure if the reverse would help!
This is the only thing I really use except for Aleenes Acid Free tacky glue. Aleenes is available online at Joanns and in store at Michaels. I've also gotten it at Frantic Stamper. A little of it goes a long way!

I have the Glue Glider Pro. You can get it at Hobbly Lobby. They have a 3 piece refill set for $22 that you can get with their coupon.
I have used the ATG and I HATE it. It's very big/bulky, the tape is a PITB to change and once it's stuck, it's stuck; no going back and changing your mind. It's way too permanent for me.

Ai have a pink atg that I use for things that really need to stick....but I'm left handed so it kind of a pain to use all the time ...so I use the scotch brand dot tape runner....it works well and nothing has fallen off.....
Kiki pea do you think the glue glider pro who be okay for a left handed person?
