For those of you waiting (patiently for 1.5+ years) for the release of this line, crazy4scraps reports (in this thread) that it is currently shipping! (Check out Treasure Map to see the products offered, which is a few less than originally introduced in 7/2013). What do you plan to order? ETA: Anyone see OA Treasure Map products lining the shelves at your LSS or receive your order? What are your thoughts about the colors/patterns/etc.? TIA |

I'm sure they will have it at the PaperMade store which is local for me, so I'll look at it in person and then decide what I really want. I usually like the tidbits and the labels and some of the papers are cute. But after finally unpacking countless boxes of stuff in my studio (with still many more to go, ugh), I'm discovering that if I never bought another travel themed item for the rest of my life I probably already have enough!

I think it will be really cute for my grandson. Plus, my kids were the Pirates in high school, so if I ever get around to scrapping those years I'll use some of it.
I will probably buy a whole kit.

Knowing me...eventually I will probably buy all of it. Right away though...not sure I will probably buy a few sheets of the blue labels, I LOVE their label stickers, and a couple of mini markets. I do really like the stamps as well, Octopi!

It's about time. OA drives me crazy and I generally don't bother stalking stores for their stuff bc it's never there when OA says it will be released. And I never count on using their products for a certain project for that same reason. But it is really cute and I'll probably get some to use for DS's stuff.
I'm so surprised they're still in business, though!

I look forward to the release of this line & more! crazy4scraps - As a theme-challenged scrapper, I appreciate OA for the versatile patterns on the reverse sides, labels, alphas, & tidbits. We appear to buy the same products. Interested in your thoughts about the colors/patterns in this line, once you've seen them in person. mikklynn - Creative idea to use this line to add a bit of whimsy to pages for your children's high school (with a Pirate mascot) photos! impearia - Like you, I gravitate toward the versatile labels & alphas. I also find the octopi stamp adorable/different/unique, but would not use any of the nautical images often enough to justify buying the set! anonrefugee - You are among OA fans on this thread! alissa103 - I completely agree with your sentiments & am shocked this line is actually available after 1.5 years! I believe OA must be a side business for the owner(s), not his/her/their livelihood. None of the LSSs I've visited in the last couple of years carry OA products anymore due to the company's chronic unreliability & questionable business practices, so ordering online is my only option. I include new OA products as they become available & am so far behind scrapping that I'll use them...eventually! |

I just selected a few papers from ACOT as "Notify". I will probably buy just a couple of sheets of paper for some unfinished kid pages, and some brads because I am obsessed with them. It's very cute!

I'm going to be over that way on Saturday and plan to stop at PaperMade while I'm in the area. I have several tropical vacations to scrap that I'm years behind on, so that's what I'm wanting to look at specifically. I seriously don't *need* anything, but that doesn't mean I won't buy anything!

My cart at ACOT is already to go but they don't have the brads yet. (See obsession references in other threads.) Tin pins, no. Chipboard stickers, no. It has to be brads. My cart will just have to wait.

I placed my order at ACOT. It's expensive! But, I have been waiting so long, I did it anyway.
I was really disappointed they didn't have the tin pins and brads in stock, yet. I just can't understand how OA has so many issues getting their products to the store.

I bought some at PaperMade last weekend. I got the Doodads, Tidbits, Word Stickers, a sheet of the letters with the maps on them, the shape stickers and a piece of cardstock with the cut apart journal cards on it. They had the pins and other stuff in the store, but I really don't like all that bulky stuff on my pages. It's all pretty cute in real life.

I pulled up this paper line and looked at it closely, and the "B" sides are really great for non-themed projects. I think I will be ordering quite a bit of it.
One of the best lessons I have learned from Shimelle/Glitter Girl is how to use themed papers in a non-themed way, mostly using the "B" side but not always.
The only scrappy store left in my area just sent word that they have this line in stock, so I will be checking it out soon.
