Anyone else waiting impatiently for the class descriptions to be posted? Registration is less than a month away so I thought they might be available by now. I did look through the class listings for the previous CKC's and didn't see much that interested me so, if the Lancaster schedule is similar, I may only be taking a couple of classes this year.

Me, me, me!!! I was just looking for the class list a couple days ago. They're usually listed by now... HOWEVER, I wasn't too crazy about the classes that I took last year. I'm thinking of just shopping and scrapping this year...

I don't attend classes but I do shop until I literally drop, both days from open to close. Last year I did do one of the crops.

We went last year and dropped a hundred dollars in the vendor faire! I'm looking forward to doing it again! Does anyone stay in the hotel? We did one time when it was in Valley Forge but haven't done it since they moved it to Lancaster.

Does anyone stay in the hotel? We did one time when it was in Valley Forge but haven't done it since they moved it to Lancaster. We've stayed at the Marriott every year and love it for the convenience, but when we tried to reserve this year (back in January!) we were told that they didn't have any rooms with two beds available. My friend tried calling the hotel directly but was told they couldn't help because an outside company is handling the reservations for the CKC rate and the hotel doesn't have access to any information on the CKC room block. They said to call back in early July, when the booking company is supposed to turn over the CKC room information to the Marriott, and maybe they could help then. We've never had an issue getting a room before, and we've usually called later than January, so I'm not sure what the deal is this year. We have a room booked at the Wingate and will cancel that reservation if we can get into the Marriott but I'm not optimistic. We have a third person coming with us this year and she was able to book the Marriott because she wanted a single bed room - all three of us were planning to ride together and she was going to drive, but that's not going to work if we're at separate hotels. |

Updating to let those interested know that I emailed CK to ask about the class descriptions - they responded and said they'll be posted on April 8th.

I don't do classes anymore but I did think some of the class offerings looked new and maybe fresh. If I did take classes I see some that would interest me. I don't take classes because I have my scrap style and I'd rather spend the money on product. |

I decided to take just two classes - normally I take 4 or more. More money for shopping, I guess! We're going to do the Friday night crop for the first time so that should be fun.
