Thanks everyone! I wrote a super long blog post last night about the whole thing ( here). It's going to be a fun adventure. And just prior to this post, I was designated a Beastly Member - so it just must be my year Update: Now I'm a Chatterbox ...

So this is an MLM thing, right? Seems several 'names' in scrapbooking are going that route. At least Lisa is staying with scrapbooking.
ETA: Sorry, I forgot to wish you luck.

So this is an MLM thing, right? Seems several 'names' in scrapbooking are going that route. At least Lisa is staying with scrapbooking. ETA: Sorry, I forgot to wish you luck. Yep, but I'm mostly in it to sell Lisa's products. I've gone back and forth about creating my own online store but there's so much hassle involved - taxes, shipping, bookkeeping, etc. I loved working for Memory Works until they closed in 2013 so this is finally a good replacement for me. Being on Lisa's team, she'll be sending customers to us so that's very nice I'm happy to be associated with Lisa because I've always loved her. Having Jana Eubanks and Tasra Dawson (I have her book on my bookshelf!) on the team is awesome as well. Do you mean Heidi Swapp and her essential oils? LOL Yeah, at least Lisa is staying with scrapbooking. Youngevity has essential oils though, too, so ... ha ha. It's very hard to make a living in the scrapbooking field these days which is sad because so many of us love it. Thanks for the wishes, oldcrow!

This is great!!! I just have to comment on Heidi Swapp selling oils. I talked to Heidi recently at an oil conference because I love and adore Young Living oils and she genuinely uses YL oils and has for a long time. One of our mutual friends sold them to her. (Monique McClean) I'm sure she will make a boatload of money off her Citrus Pop team and her new venture selling them but I've seen her passion for them in person and talked to her about balancing that and the creative business and she's on board with the oils 'cause she truly believes in them. I am happy to see someone like her promoting them 'cause it just helps get the word out there about a life changing product. I use them daily and don't know how I lived without them!
Congrats on your new venture journeyfan! Couldn't have happened to a nicer person! I'm excited for you! I read your blog posts and watched Lisa's video. I love her. She just makes me happy thinking of all she's done for our wonderful hobby. I miss CK.

@journeyfan... I just received a Facebook message from someone who saw that I congratulated Lisa Bearnson on Facebook about her new Anthropology line. She said she was Lisa Bearnson's marketing manager and wanted to know if I wanted to stay in the "loop" by signing up as a preferred customer (to receive updates on her products), or sign up to be a $10 distributor (get a free goody bag every month from Lisa) or sign up to be a distributor for $499.00 (receive $700 worth of Youngevity products).
I'm confused. It sounds like I'm not going to get just scrapbooking supplies, but everything Youngevity sells. If I sign up, I will be able to get products at a listed wholesale price. I will not have to sell anything. The $10 dollar goody bag sounded good until I realized that it probably won't be just scrapbooking products!
What's the scoop? Is the only way we're going to be able to buy this Anthropology stuff is if we're a distributor? It won't be available in stores?

Her website and angle are very eye-catching/intriguing. I don't know anything about oils but Youngevity (the umbrella company Lisa Bearnson is with/I signed up with) sells them so I'll probably try some eventually. For now, I'm all about the scrapbook products and Lisa's new line. And thank you for the kind words, Tracie. I love Lisa, too - always have. CK holds such a special place in my heart <3

What's the scoop? Is the only way we're going to be able to buy this Anthropology stuff is if we're a distributor? It won't be available in stores? Hi MDscrapaholic You're right, if you sign up as a preferred customer, you'll have access to Lisa's Anthology stuff but also to everything Youngevity sells - for 30% off retail. They say to think of it like a huge shopping mall - clothes, nutritional products, jewelry, digital scrapbooking, scrapbooking products, etc. You can just ignore all those other "shops" if you have no interest. The goody bag from Lisa, to my understanding, will have Youngevity products but I'm not sure what exactly they'll be. I think the Anthology products themselves are still in production so unless she has samples, I don't see how those could be included at this point (don't quote me; I'm just surmising, LOL). There are Our Memories for Life existing scrapbook products that could be included, I suppose I figure it's free/included so I'll be happy to get any little package in the mail. As for purchasing Anthology products, my understanding is that it'll be analogous to Creative Memories (direct selling). You'll only be able to purchase it through the Youngevity site as a preferred customer or distributor (aka consultant) or through someone who is. I don't think it will be available in stores. This is all very new, just announced about 2 weeks ago, but that's the best info I have at this point. Feel free to check back with me any time you have questions. If you sign up as a preferred customer through my site, I'll keep you updated as I get new info.
