Our Sam's has these on clearance for $49 and I'm wondering if I should upgrade the older model that doesn't include the WiFI option for that price. Any opinions?

Not sure I understand your question. Do you already have an older Selphy without wi-fi and you are wondering if you should upgrade to the one that has wifi for $49? I have the 910 which has wi fi and it is FAB for printing from my phone. If you will be printing from your phone a lot I would say it is worth it. I do print from my PC too, but I just use a cable for that.

Yes I have the older version but it doesn't have the wifi option and the ability to print from my phone would be great.

That's a great price if it's one of the newer ones. I think I paid about $79 on sale for mine about a year ago.

My very favorite part of the Selphy is the fact that it prints from my phone. So super easy!!!

Maybe I'm confused to the benefit of having selphy with wifi - I have Selphy 900 that does not have wifi but I'm still able to print from my phone using the app. Am I missing something here?

I have the most current model - just got it a month ago. I LOVE the wifi and being able to print from my phone (and my canon DSLR).

The 910 has its own wifi, so you can print from your phone, tablet, computer, etc, without having to be in a place that has wifi. Seems brilliant to me, and I wish I had waited, since I mainly use the selphy when I travel or at crops, and I have found that the free hotel wifi does not always work.if the 910 is $49, that is an awesome deal!

But I ended up buying a Selphy 910 from Staples online on a pretty good deal. If you sign-up for emails, they send a bunch of coupons, one of them is take $25.00 off the purchase of $99.00 or more...I used it on the Selphy, so it dropped the price to $74.00 and on orders over $49.00 it's free 2-day shipping.

Yes, I did get the printer ribbon & Paper pack. Been out of town at a tournament this weekend so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Plan to set it up and test it tomorrow.
I don't know that I'll print everything from it, but I am excited to try it and right now planning on using it when I want to work on some pages, but not ready to order a large batch of prints. We'll see tomorrow when I get it all connected.

For $49 I'd scoop up a couple of them, maybe save one for a gift.
I just got the Selphy for my birthday last month and there were NO deals anywhere. Dh and I searched high and low and I think he wound up just getting it from Best Buy for just under $100.
