Long-awaited baby--wonderful news. Take tons of pics and save lots of memorabilia. Start a first-year baby album or a Project Life baby album. Scrap during baby naps or while daddy has time with baby.
Scrap shed--also wonderful news! What thoughtful relatives! You can do plenty of scrapping with a new baby, so get a baby swing, and both of you can spend many happy hours in your scrapping oasis.
Husband--he may be the nicest guy on the planet, but he was very thoughtless, even controlling, by packing up your scrap room when you weren't home, especially since he didn't organize the boxes/tubs for some easy access. I hope that you have had an honest talk with him about how you feel and ask that he consult with you ahead of time in the future when he wants to be "helpful."
Cheers, jamh

Maybe have him bring 2 or 3 boxes at a time so you can rearrange them and type up an inventory for each box. The baby is a much better deal!

Aww, I understand. I had a huge, over the garage bonus room to use as my scrap room in our other house. When DH was transferred our new house didn't have that kind of space. I got the tiniest bedroom and had to downsize my stuff in order to fit. I also had to go crazy organizing and planning so that I could make the best use of the space I did have. I guess the positive I want to throw out about this is that it made me really evaluate my stuff, what I use most, what I was just keeping because I had room and it has made me crazy, weirdly awesomely productive. I find stuff so quickly now and am not looking through papers I'll never use, etc. I hope you get to that point as well, no matter how tiny your "space." Congrats on the baby!!!
