Since the latest update, I can't figure out how to access my downloaded cut files (the ones I've purchased from the silhouette store). The only ones that come up in my library are the standard 50 or so that come with the software. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help!

I would suggest you email or call customer service. You may have to do a recovery of your library. But let them know and see what they say. They are very helpful and by making them aware they may find that they need to fix something in the program.

I had huge library problems with the latest software when it was first released! Silhouette customer service by email was TERRIBLE! But when I spoke to someone on the phone they were able to help! Give them a call and I'm sure they'll be able to assist. You may have to recover your library and if that's the case, make sure you get them to reset the downloads back to 3.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to add a call to customer service to my to-do list.

How did you install the newest upgrade? I have heard of people losing their library, but this didn't happen to me, so I am not sure the cause of it. I am on a Windows PC.. I downloaded the most current version of V3. V3.0531 and clicked on the file to install. It removed my old version and installed the new version without affecting my library. Is this how you did your install? You can go to the Silhouette Online Store (SOS) and recover all your purchased files. Open the software up on your computer and go to SOS through that. Here is a link that describes how to recover your files. SOS file recovery instructionsThey allow you 3 recoveries - but I know if you ask them they will reset that count to allow you more, if you have already used the 3 recovery attempts. If you have files that were not purchased from SOS, and you have not backed them up or stored them elsewhere - they are gone. I don't recommend storing outside files in the Library - or if you do, to keep a backup copy in a different folder on your computer that you can easily back up onto an external drive or dropbox type of service. Same goes for fonts! Back up your fonts! Hope this helps!
