Any ideas in what I can get my scrappy friend for her birthday?
She pretty much exclusively scraps her photos with Project Life stuff. She has a lot of core and mini kits so I don't want to get her one unless it's brand spanking new to be sure I don't duplicate.
She also just moved into a new house with an amazing scrap room, so a little cute decor thing for it would be good too. I could even make her something to display bc she doesn't alter or get too crafty in that way and she would actually display it and love it. I know her well in that regard.
I will def. make her a handmade card, too.
Oh, and I don't want to do a gift card, no matter how cute I decorate it. Lol!

I think something for her new crafty room would be an amazing gift. I received that from my bff and love it when she makes me something for my room.

Ok good! Thanks  That makes me less nervous about doing a handcrafted item. Im thinking I might alter a big letter (for her first name) in the accent color she is using in her room. She has a wall of built-in cubbies, kind of like the ikea Expedit, and I think it would look cute in one. |

What about the PL card holders from IKEA? They were $2.99 each. Does she still use letters for titles or wooden embellishments?

Hobby Lobby had a great wooden storage for scrappers. Going to go find it. It is originally a wood color. |

how about altering a nice big wooden box like they have at Michaels & Hobby lobby. some are already decorated in pretty flowers paper or cloth .. or you could recover it in pretty flower paper then you can add stuff to it if you wish. She could use if for ribbon or buttons or bling or anything They have many different types of boxes like that |

I love the ikea pl card holders. I bought 5 of them and need more now. They are wonderful and perfect size for PL.

It sounds like you have some great ideas already and are being very thoughtful! If you know she'd love a handmade decor item, that might be a fun thing to do. Another option might be a small storage piece for her room, if you know her tastes. I was thinking something vintage, if that's what she's in to. A receipt holder, a metal floral frog, a small Pyrex refrigerator piece.. a little birdcage (some people like to store flowers or ribbon in them, if that's her taste). |

I agree that if you know she'd appreciate something handcrafted to display in her craft room...go for it! It'll be personal and help make that room a little more special than it already is.

How about different Project Life pages for her albums? They have all different combinations of pages. Might let her shake it up a little lol
