I do NOT sell these and actually do not ever go to home parties because I think they are a rip off for the most part. However, a friend on FB started to sell this Younique line and I was curious. She sent me a free set of the fiber lashes and I applied them for the first time today-holy moly! I have always had nice lashes, but now they are mega long and awesome and I only applied one coat. I'm sitting here fluttering them because I feel so glamorous, lol!
Now I'm afraid to ask her how much this stuff costs. I'm also wondering how long a set lasts. Anyone else love these?

I was wondering as well. I saw a friend doing an online party but don't know anyone in real life who has used them.
You mascara as normal, brush stuff on, and re-mascara again-is that how it works?

Of all the pictures/videos/demos that I've seen, I think they look like spider legs and would not try them at all...

shescrafty-yes, you apply a thin coat of your regular mascara, then a gel, then the fibers. Pinkprincess- I was wondering about that too. Mine don't look that way at all, but I only applied one coat. I'm wondering if the spider look is from multiple? I also used an old, clean mascara brush to separate my lashes before each next coat. I'm wondering if they'll last all day too.

Ironically, the only time I've ever seen it look 'good' and 'normal' is when that video of that crazy woman was 'testing' (which I think was meant to be a joke?) it out against her regular mascara LOL...I think she only did one coat as well, though. Maybe that's the trick? I'll see if I can find the video.

I got some, but have never had good results. I've tried it over mascara, not over mascara, multiple coats, etc. Honestly, I get better results from the mascara I get at Walmsrt.

I wouldn't care to TRY it, but I'm not going to pay that much for something that gets such drastically different results LOL...

I had seen many people use it. It always looks like spidery lashes and clumpy..I don't think it looks good at all. One girl on IG was asked to try it and she did and said it was so bad for her because the little tubes would come off, she also said its not something contact wearers should try because of the tubes falling in your eyes.

They run about $35 if you buy from the company. It is $29 plus shipping. Younique 3D LashesI have not tried them because I don't want to pay that much for mascara. It claims to be good for about 2 months. One thing I was never able to find out is if it dries up during that time. In other words, for those people who might not wear it every day, is it useless after about 2 months? I agree that they look spidery on many people but I have also seen them look nice. Maybe those that they look nice on only used one coat and separated lashes between. You can also get a similar look much cheaper buying Essence Lash Powder. Essence Lash PowderI have tried this and it takes some work to learn to not use too much. If you try to put too much on, it will get in your eyes. Also, this is not recommended for contact wearers.

I've been very curious to see real people's experiences with these. My lashes are so sparse, I would love to find something to help out, besides false lashes.

A friend of mine tried one night and hers looked good. They weren't clumpy or spidery. She has sparse lashes normally though and she said regular mascara doesn't do a lot for her. This made her lashes show up more. I get good results from my regular kind. I bet mine would get spidery as they are already long.

Well I've had it on for quite a few hours already and it's held up with no weird fibers falling off, lol. I have to say it doesn't look spidery on me at all. The price is definitely a bit more than I want to spend on mascara, but it looks so good I just might!

The price alone stops me from trying this product.
But, omg, that chick in the video was so absolutely irritating, I had to just keep skipping around until I could see her lashes. Her voice and manner are just over the top.

A lot of people have issues with the fibres falling off and getting into their eyes. Not great for contact wearers. Or else they land below your eyes and you don't realize it and look a bit goofy. All of the demos I've seen don't look great. I think if you're going for an unnaturally long look, false lashes look a ton better.

What do I think? Very expensive and everyone I know is trying to sell them. I am not a big make girl and would never spend that much mascara.
As for the look, I think the lashes look "gunky" and not pretty at all!

It does NOT photograph well up close. The photos I see on Facebook of people hawking it look like creepy spider eyes. However, I do think it looks pretty good in person. I haven't bought it yet, but one of my girlfriends did, and we all played with it. She was coming off of eyelash extensions and had pretty short/thin lashes, so it made a huge difference for her. I think if you already have thick or long lashes, it is either too much or not enough of a difference vs. regular mascara.
My mascara is almost dead and i'm debating buying some, but I picked up some drugstore brand that worked about 70% as well and was 25% of the price, so it's hard for me to swallow the price tag.

I love Maybelline mascara. I usually use Great Lash, but I think I will try this one out. Actually... I can't even remember the last time I wore mascara, so this will be fun. Thanks!

I love the Essence stuff from Ulta - you can't beat the price, even if you buy it and hate it lol.

I use it and I love the stuff. As a contact wearer, I haven't had fibers fall in my eyes and like you, Tanya, I haven't had the spidery eye look. You really have to cake it on for that to happen.
I did a thread on this on 2peas and like this one, there was a lot of mixed reactions. I think it's worth it.

I wear mascara everyday and I use MAC Zoom Lash Fast Black. It's about $16 and it lasts me about 4 months.
