Hardly ever. I have one friend who's a card maker so I get birthday cards and the odd handmade Christmas card from her.

I have only received one handmade card. My friends and family are not card makers. I make cards because it makes me happy.

I get them from the three women with whom I crop, but almost no one else, My mom often gets me cards that have "look" handmade (e.g. that have lots of texture or popped-up elements). It's very sweet. Once i got one of my own cards! I had made a set of cards as a gift for my BFF, who communicates often by snail mail. She worte me a letter in it, saying she thought I deserved to get one of my own beautful cards. I was surprised at how much fun that was.

Not very often. Even my friends that scrap don't typically make a lot of cards. I have one or two friends that make cards at Christmas. I used to get a lot more when I belonged to a stamp club, but I dropped out quite a few years ago when life got too hectic to keep up with the monthly projects.

I have a good friend from college who sends me cards she makes from a "stamp camp" thing she goes to every year. She isn't really a card maker either, but goes to this event every summer for fun.
When I taught at a LSS, my students used to give me handmade cards occasionally.
Now I pretty much just get the one from my college friend on my birthday.

I give sets of notecards to a couple of people for Christmas/Birthday and I'll sometimes get one of those back in the mail - they are people who write frequently (snail mail)
Otherwise? nope

I am not a cardmaker but I enjoy making the occasional card. however, nowadays I never receive any. NONE of my friends or family craft or are crafty so no one is into handmade stuff. I did get lots of handmade cards back when my nieces were little.

Never. I used to, one of the ladies at work made cards for everyone's birthday. Now that she's gone, the job has fallen to me!

I have the fortune to share my hobby with my mom, my sister and my oldest daughter so at least three handmade card for my birthday. At our 25 th anniversery we got a card I have made, it was attatched to the gift from dd's boyfriend - he needed one, my daughter didn't have time to make it, but he knows where I keep my box with misc. cards

Well, not counting all of the beautiful cards my daughter made for me when she was younger (and I still have every one) only once, and it was from someone completely unexpected! Wish I had more crafty friends because it'd be really nice to get some handmade cards! My daughter did manage to find one that looked handmade last year for my birthday and we both laughed when I opened it because she is the least crafty person I know!!

I don't know anyone else who makes their own cards except for my 10 year old. I also have been getting more "virtual" cards from FB friends.

One for birthdays, sometimes one for Christmas. I have all the cute handmade cards my kids made, but those are getting fewer and farther between since they are young adults. Heck, hardly anyone sends purchased cards anymore either. And most of the Christmas 'cards' we receive now are those photo postcards.

Not very often but I do send a handmade card monthly to all of my customers who purchased from me the previous month. ....and we really appreciate those Kara! I had a nice compliment the other day. My DIL said my 22-year-old grandson warned his mom not to throw away Grandma's cards, "because they are awesome." This from a 22-year-old young man! I get handmade cards from my daughters and my grandchildren. I have lots of grandma thank you cards and just "love" cards from the grands. I think they know I love them.
