...on sale at Consumer Crafts. I think they're a less expensive alternative to Copic. The price changes when you add to your cart. The sets of 24 are for Brights, Darks, Lights, Pastels.
I've never used alcohol pens. Do I need them? Has anyone used this brand? Do I have to use special paper, like you do with watercolors? And lastly, do I need to be an artist to use them?
Thanks in advance.

Not personally, but my friend who sent me the email link said "I have ordered from them before." So not sure if it's a go or not. Hijacking my own thread - After having my main credit card replaced twice, since the Target debacle, I got a refillable prepaid card that I use for online shopping and around town that I'm not sure about. So I'm only out the amount on the card, say less than $200.

If they're the new brand/style of SN kind then I would give them a shot.
If its the old style I wouldn't. I have a few packs of the old style I bought a from JoAnns a long time ago and when I got home I opened them up and each pack had at least 3 dried out...one of the ones that wasn't dried out when I went to try it out the nib went all the way up into the pen and ink leaked everywhere. The ones that I did keep dried out all together not long after. Oh and the caps never stayed on for me. Always had to use washi to keep them on.
