I saw red, white and blue flair at Dollar Tree. It was with the patriotic stuff. It looks like that section was just stocked.

I just picked up October,November, and a blooper bundle. I need a scrappy prize for an upcoming crop weekend, and maybe for our usual NSD crop, so a FF kit will be perfect. Hopefully it arrives in time! I bought the November kit previously and just loved it, so hoping it will be a hit with the group.

HELP! What is flair? Is it something I NEED? I googled and came up with...pins or buttons? Yes! Exactly... pins/buttons/badges... whatever you call those little round metal things that usually have a pin on the back. The scrapbooking ones are referred to flair, for some reason, and usually don't have pins on the back. They have flat, or concave, metal backs. Some come with foam square adhesive on them, and if not, you can use your own foam squares or glue dots to adhere.

I think of a lapel pin as something completely different... small little shaped and moulded pins, like the American flags that US politicians seem to be required to wear.

Flair is just the fancy word we scrappers use. It's like chipboard (let's face it - it's cardboard). Or calling that color of cardstock 'kraft'. Again, cardboard or grocery bag, lol.

I was just in Dollar Tree yesterday (for the first time ever, I might add) getting Magic Cover Clear Contact Paper to use as transfer paper from my Cricut Explore.
I didn't spot anything scrapbook related.
Can you please give me an idea where the scrapbooking items are located? My store is kind of a jumbled mess!
TIA

Don't know why, but I feel compelled to point out that Kraft paper is actually called Kraft paper, we scrappers didn't come up with that "fancy" name for it (LOL) and the word Kraft did not originally refer to the color. It's the name of a paper making process. We didn't make up the word chipboard either. Saying we came up with the words Kraft paper or chipboard would be like saying we made up the word manilla folders as both were around before Mrs. Grossman made her first stickers. We weren't the first to start calling buttons flair either. I'll just back my way out now.

I have to use Flairs. I have some Basic Grey ones but always forget I have them so they are never used. I really must drag those out so they are in plain view.

small hijack-- it drives me batty that the Heidi Swapp ones are called masks when some of them are, indeed, designed as stencils! mask: solid design that blocks off the area and the color goes around the design; stencil: blocks off an area and the color goes inside the cut-out area.

Slight hijack! When I hear the word "flair" it reminds me of that movie Office Space where Jennifer Aniston worked in a place like TGI Fridays, and she got in trouble with her boss for not having the required number of pieces of flair on her uniform! So maybe there should be a requirement that if you're going to scrap with flair, you must use at least 15 pieces on your page...
