I am loving the deer head stuff, all the gold and really really love the wood grain papers. I have been picking out a wood grain paper with every page kit I pull, just can't get enough of it!

The white or lighter back grounds. Love how it helps my photos pop.
I am liking the wood grained look, but haven't used it yet. Do you have a favorite paper? I think I need to hunt some down online, my LSS didn't have any.

Bella Blvd has some colored wood grained papers in their new releases today.
I'm also liking the crisper whites I've been seeing as backgrounds and some of the more saturated colors.

I have always been a fan of woodgrain so that is a staple for me. I also love the white/kraft/light backgrounds as the base(makes adding things WAY easier for me). I hope the little bits and things don't go "out" but even if they do I will use them since I have a ton now.

See, now the deer head can't go away fast enough for me! LOL I love the bits of metallic gold too. I like the neutral wood grain papers like MME's Necessities white washed woodgrain. I also like the little bits and pieces of epherema tossed in and layered up.

My DH bought it off Kijiji and gave it to me for my last birthday and now I can scrapbook a page about it because I have lots of deer head stuff to include. ha

I'm a big fan of the 2 by 2 and 4 by 4 project life cards. I've used a ton of the TC one thus far!

bright colours in geometric patterns and I like the silver foil. I really don't like gold, but the silver accents I've been able to find are really nice.

I like wood grains as well and have a few different ones in my stash. Not sure which manufacturer this one is (I did this in 2013):

I like the bright saturated colors that aren't distressed. Over half of my stash is muted and distressed as that's what I've liked for so long. I love the wood grain and wood veneers.
Actually, I like it all because I love to mix it up.

Love the golds. Love the woodgrains. Can't quite figure out the deer heads.
I also like that most of the companies are doing ephemera packs. So much quicker and easier than punching out sheets of die-cuts.

Don't know if it is a trend, but I love these word stickers that look like they were made on the old dymo label makers.

I love Dymo Label letters too. My Dymo label sits right beside me at my desk. I love Project life cards and sequins. It's not really a trend but if scallops ever disappear I won't know what to do. I bought my first set of Thickers, recently. Now, I am addicted. I need a lot of Thickers.

I love that there is such a variety out there at the moment! So much inspiration. I too love woodgrain and classic patterns like polka dots and stripes.
I paint and sketch, so I love that watercolours have made their way into scrapbooking. Why did I never combine my hobbies before?!

I have seen more plaids and diagonal plaids recently, and I love plaids, especially diagonal ones.
I also love the wood grain. Little Yellow Bicycle had a Fern & Forest line that had the wood grain in different colors, but it was a very subtle pattern, so it looked good even in teal and green, although one of the B sides was a normal brown.
Also, I have seen other wood grain papers and have collected a bunch. I love anything related to mountains, outdoors, and camping.
Wood grain is nice because it can be used for a lot of different layouts, and is great for guy pages. Sometimes the girly stuff is so prevalent that it is hard to find papers more suitable for my guys. I have 4 sons and only 1 girl. It's one reason I love plaid papers. They can be used for guy pages, too.

I love all these layouts!!! I love the 2x3 PL cards! The variety that's out right now is wonderful. I use them for things other than PL pages, like journaling or as design elements or embellishments on regular non-pocket pages.
