So I am assuming their last person was using the internet too much, on the phone with friends/family and coming in late? Was she Russian as well?

It's kind of like those ridiculous warnings that are on everything..."don't shove hot curling iron up your nose" And you think "why would they need to say that, 'cause who would do that? But you know someone probably did.
No idea about the Russian though.

What's interesting, is that it says that you need to speak both Russian and English and use "Microsoft Office" in the Russian but assumes, I guess, that if you can't read that part, you aren't qualified

Are you serious? It says in the Russian part you need to speak it? Ummm really.. shouldn't you put that part in the English side of the post? (I'm going back to look and see if I missed it)...

Yeah and you are going to pay me $12 with commission in three months. Commission, for an admin job? That is weird.

My sister had a long list of regulations at her new job - they made it sound so awful that joining the military sounding more relaxing. Don't bring your cellphone into the building, never on your desk, don't have a purse at your desk (yeah, like I'm leaving it in the CAR?), park between the lines in the parking lot and not close to one side or the other. I think the HR person must have had a bad day!

Oh, before I retired I had an HR Director who, I swear, laid awake at night dreaming up stupid rules. The morale in that place is horrendous. Which is sad, as when I started there 27+ years ago it was an AWESOME place to work. It is a hospital, where employees SHOULD be happy so as to create a positive atmosphere with patients and families. Sigh...

I WAS IN THE AIR FORCE, and except for a couple duties (involving things that can make a big "BOOM" where even to turn a page is a checklist item) we were not so up-tight about stuff.
