My son just asked for some money for lunch and I said, "OK but don't spend much." He joked he needed a million dollars because he wanted to get scrambled dinosaur eggs served on moon rocks. So I said, "OK then but get pictures because I have dinosaur and moon paper." Sadly, he was kidding but I was not. I have paper for pretty much anything.
So just for fun, what is something crazy that you could scrap with supplies you have right now even though there is no way you will ever have photos to go with it?

I have wedding paper and I couldn't afford a photographer when we got married so I have about 3-4 wedding pics total and they are all horrible looking. So my wedding paper is useless.
Disney paper- I'm not a Disney person yet I have some paper LOL
Rock band paper- unless DH and myself start a rock band that paper is useless also lol

Let's see...
I have Prom paper. Went to a total of three of them and have exactly one photo--and it's a crappy Polaroid.
I have travel paper with European themes, and no desire to *ever* go overseas.
I have camping stuff but will never go tent camping (my idea of "roughing it" is the Holiday Inn Express without an elevator, LOL).
I have cat themed stuff and have never personally owned a cat.
I'm sure there's more but that's just what immediately pops into my head!

And to answer the original question, If I ever meet a band of pirates, I would be able to make a scrapbook for all of them.

Good thread! I have way more zoo-themed paper (think animal prints) than I will ever use. It was leftover from a couple of projects I did a while back. Even more than I 'll use in future trips to the zoo or WDW Animal Kingdom, LOL! So a couple of years ago DS needed paper to do a diorama of a book - not only did he find what he needed for all of the background paper, he actually cut animal shapes out and used them in creative ways (some were 3-D) to make some of the diorama figures/characters. He said something about how he had an edge over the rest of his classmates whose moms were not scrapbookers.

My friend's job had a heart decorating contest. I made. She won!

I don't have any dinosaur paper but I'm prepared for everything else, including a trip to Paris, any rain/cloud/rainboot related event and could make at least 10 layouts about eating ice cream or popsicles..

Ha! This thread is awesome. I have all of the above, except maybe the prom paper. I even bought some OA flair because one of the pieces was an egg sunny side up. DS is allergic to eggs so I though that would be useful at some point. ?!?! I also have a ton of baby girl paper and I have a boy. Not sure where it all came from. I guess I need to have a baby girl as well.

I actually have a sheet of paper covered with Kraft macaroni and cheese. I know it's Kraft because it's nasty-looking.

I have no real reason to own the stack of pirate paper (and alphas! you know the ones I'm talking about) in my stash. No kids, and I already scrapped my Pirates of the Caribbean ride layout.

This is too funny!
I just finished a Disney album that morphed into a double album and I still have one of those plastic bins from Michael's FULL of Disney paper! I have primary school paper thru to Graduation and I've done both kids books already.
I just buy way too much of a theme when I see it. I also have baby paper and no babies in sight. I'm not even sure why I bought that stuff. LOL.
There is also another bin full of every type of Christmas paper imaginable. I am not allowed to buy paper any more!

DD just finished her serial killer lifestory scrapbook for her Forensics class. It's a mandatory project that the teacher mentioned to the parents back in September so we parents knew the kids weren't turning into sociopaths. So I turned her loose in my scraproom and she found map papers, metal compass embellies, lots of letter stickers and even some Halloween epoxies that look like spilled blood (who knew Martha Stewart could be so icky?). I'm finding it very gruesome that I had all those supplies on hand mixed in with all my cutesy Doodlebug stuff. I'm looking at my stuff with a new view now and I think I'll be purging again as soon as I recuperate from the huge ick factor. DD's scrapbook is eerily awesome: hope she gets an A on it!

pelirroja - you win! I am pretty sure I couldn't have created a murder scene. I'll be thinking about it next time I look at my Halloween stash. I am grossed out by the teeth in my hockey stickers! I have lots of hockey stuff because my grandson is obsessed with playing hockey. I have removed the loose teeth stickers and tossed them.

I have a pretty significant stash, but I also have a huge stamp collection, and I can design & create cutting files, too. I can scrap pretty much anything at all. In fact, that is one reason I love having an electronic cutter that lets me design my own files, because I often have pictures that are unique, that don't fit the usual products offered by manufacturers. I love my huge stamp collection because I can create my own patterned papers in whatever colors I want.
It takes time to make cutting files and stamp my own patterned papers, but I have yet to find photos I can't scrapbook one way or another. Historical sites, museums, goofy family activities, skim boarding, whatever.
As for the question about supplies you will never have photos to go with? I never say never. I had a gorgeous two page set of papers with a tree that was partly on the left sheet and partly on the right. I did finally use it when we went to a restaurant called the Treehouse Cafe. I have also been known to find a way to stage photos so that I could use certain supplies. I can't be the only one.....

I would LOVE to see some pictures of this scrapbook; it sounds great!! (just to be clear-- not because I'm a serial killer, or anything, but because it sounds like she really took the theme and ran with it in a very cool way!)

DD's book is about Robert C. Hansen, and she titled it "The Butcher Baker". ((chills running down my spine)). I really admire DD: she included photos of the victims and their names to recognize and acknowledge them. Hansen's being caught was all due to one girl who got away, otherwise this story might never had come to light: it could have gone on for years unnoticed because he was so methodical and such a (seemingly) ordinary guy. Ick.

Not just paper, but oh my goodness, the PSB binders full of stickers! Where to start? I'm with Scrapnnana too, but won't admit it to the family! With my boys I started collecting all things wrestling, soccer, and whoa TT had La Crosse stamps that were retiring. DS was thinking about la Crosse but then went out for track instead. But hey, I have them so IF he does later on I've got them!
