This makes me sad. They used to be so many choices that it was difficult to decide which one to do a national scrapbook day. This year, my only option would be online.

I'm having a bunch of ladies (4) come to my house for a crafting play date. I'm getting really excited, because I haven't seen one of them in a very long time. I haven't seen two of the others in a while too. Should be fun!

Have any of you ladies taken a class from Suzy West? She'll be in Loveland at a crop that day. Her projects are really nice. It is a 12 hour crop so I should get a ton done!

I hope to get some time to get to my desk. Cousin has been going through some tough times the last 6 months (broken engagement) and has a ton of pictures of her dogs and I wanted to put a 6x8 together for her of them all. She sent me so many pictures I don't know where to start. She knows I'm doing something, but doesn't know what. I'm sure this is going to be an all summer project.
Also supposed to be nice outside so really want to get out and play in the yard. Guess I should just hope that one day is raining so it helps me decided to stay inside

So jelly of you ladies that get to go to a crop or even still have an LSS. I have to drive 1.5 hours to go to an LSS, but maybe I will bite the bullet and go since it's NSD.

Colorado Cropper, have you been to any in Estes Park? The setting is to die for and the places are pretty nice too. I haven't. I went to Sweetwater's (remember them?) in a beautiful Victorian. I think they are only doing fabric. I've also been to retreats in Woodland Park put on by Stampin' Up demonstrators. I haven't been to one in a while but I've got a serious itch to find another one! The house we are going to is the Pineberry Lodge outside of Black Hawk. The lady who owns it owns a larger home in the area too that she rents out. Coloradocropper, it is with my DIL's Creative Memories/Ahni&Zoe/CM lady and a bunch of the ladies she crops with. I, too, am in the CSpgs. area & would love to meet up with you sometime. |

The stamp store in my area appears to be doing nothing for NSD. No great sales, no even mention of it in their weekly newsletter.
They may have my new distress ink in, so I will stop in when they open and see. But I'm really disappointed that there is nothing mentioned.
I am hoping an order I placed last week from an online store arrives. I really don't understand how it can't because I ordered it last Wednesday, and its about less than a 2 hr drive for me so it should be over night mail. Its a new store that I'm not in love with. It has good prices and good shipping prices, but not reliable in when it arrives or when it is sent.
