I am really looking forward to next Saturday. There is a lot going on though but I am going to make time to actually scrapbook and do something with my supplies.
I will be hitting our stamp store in hopes of a good sale and new product.
I have to finish 2 mother's day cards and a birthday card. i'm looking on Pinterest for some ideas. I have recently been straightening up my scraproom and rearranging some stuff. I really just love my product I own.
Also that day is our town's open house day. Certain historical places and homes are available for tours. We have a castle in our town that was never inhabited. Man built it for his wife she hated it they never lived there. It then became an all girls boarding school. So we have always wanted to see it so NSD is the day. Then in the evening there is a huge boxing match taking place. My husband is a huge fan of the sport. The fights I'm sure will not start until 8ish our time and the main event maybe midnight...so snacks to be made and a nap for sure. And with a pay per view price tag of $100 everyone needs to be well rested for it.
overall it will be a busy day but a great day.
I am really trying to make scrapbooking a routine so I spend more time doing it. I really enjoy it when I actually pull out my stuff and sit down and do it. I truly am the slowest scrapper ever though. But I enjoy the process.
I wish there was a local crop happening. That would have been a fun day.

I'm looking forward to it as well! Sounds like you have a nice day planned! I wish we had a local crop that day too. I do have scrappy friends here, but everyone is busy that day so I'm going to enjoy the online crops and challenges instead. But actually, it will be nice not to have to pack my stuff for a crop and have everything I need around me I do love a good challenge, so that will be fun. My inlaws are coming this weekend and then DH is out of town next week for work. So I will NEED a little me-time after all that. And DS will need a daddy-DS weekend. Perfect timing for NSD day this year! Im also a sloooooow scrapper. I'll be happy if I get a few pages done! Lol! I'm also hoping A Cherry on Top or Scrapbook.com have a rocking sale that day. I have some stuff I've been wanting, but I'm saving my wish list for NSD! Oh, and I'll probably take a scrapping break and head to Tuesday Morning at some point. Totally addicted to that store right now!

I'll be running something on my blog and hopefully have time to scrap and chat online. Love NSD!

see I love a crop but I hate lugging the stuff there.
I just ordered 3 dies that will either be here tomorrow or by Tuesday.
I will hit the local stamp store this Saturday as well. They had a clearance on heart felt creation stamps, but you had to buy it online. So I will pick it up Saturday see what new things they have and sort my supplies.
I scrapbooked this past Saturday at home. Made a couple things, made my mom's mother day card. I might just use it for something else, or recreate it for my MIL. I intentionally left my stuff out so I could straighten up my room better. But I haven't had time to do that and I'm going to a slumber party Saturday afternoon. I have a crop on Sunday so I won't be home from 3ish Saturday until Sunday 5ish. I don't think it will be fair to leave it all in the living room either. I think I am going to be extra busy tomorrow.
I was at Costco yesterday and saw the Costco size bag of peanut m&m's and thought hmmm..I always have peanut m&m's when I scrapbook..But the over 2lbs of M&M's seemed wrong..so I didn't buy it. I will get a small bag next week.

We have a birthday party to go to that shoots a big hole right in the middle of the day. I can't believe it's coming up so fast. My friend's scrappy garage sale is two weeks later and I'm SO not ready!

My 10th annual 4-day scrapping retreat is that weekend! So I will be at The Paper Dollhouse in Sycamore IL, scrapping like a madwoman! I'm so excited, I can't stand it. I miss my friends (from all over the country) and I miss the magnificent Dollhouse (this is our 8th year there), and I MISS scrapping!
I need to make scrapping a routine, too. Creating absolutely stimulates some chemical release in my brain that makes everything else better. I plan to ride the wave of this NSD weekend for a loooong time!!!

I have a two day retreat in Loveland, Colorado. They have an instructor, Suzy West, mailed out to us. She spends the day teaching new techniques with new tools and I usually spend way too much and have too much fun.
This year I have to finish 2-50 page albums from Jamaica for graduation gifts. I have forty more pages to go by May 15th.

My LSS is having an all day crop, 10am-10pm. We usually do it on Friday, but for NSD it's Saturday. I will be there all day with bells on, as they say!

Co-hosting a 12 hour NSD Crop on May 2nd. With make-n-takes, games and prizes (I wrapped up the prizes the other night). NSD has always been a scrapping day for me. Love hanging out with friends, even if I don't get much done.

I'm hosting my annual cousin's scrapbooking/ crafting weekend. I'm going to be scrapping my butt off at Creative Passions 1 in Chesaning, MI I have 4 shoulder bags of kits made up (100+ pages). I'm ready to go all week I worked on my Make and Take (gift bag) that will co-ordinate with the make and takes of two cousins (one is doing a card, the other sugar scrubs-- it'll all go together as a Mothers Day gift) and putting gift baskets together for a raffle. I also had 6x6 reproductions made of a scrapbook me and one cousin, made for my grandma a few years before she passed. It has photos and letters from her 9 children and memorial pages for her two deceased children. I had those printed at blurb.com and wrapped them today. One for each cousin coming. (11 of us).

I will be at ACOT, Studio Calico and the ScrapGals Community online, and in my scrap room all day. I think I'm going to prepare this year and get some kits ready and make sure my photos are all printed. If I'm really organized, I may even type up some journaling! I'm looking forward to it.
This will be my 21st day of scrapbooking every day, and it has done me a world of good.

Going to a crop. No idea what I will work on. It is normally a bring your stuff to work in and the host usually has a few card kits for sale. I have been told she is changing things up but no idea what she is doing. Told may not want to take my normal stuff . Waiting for an email to get more info. I am hoping to get a few layouts done for a change.

I won't be able to scrap on Saturday, but I am inspired by reading all of your plans. I'm thinking about making plans to scrap on Friday, though. Hopefully I'll be able to get some things done. I'm really missing scrapping lately so hopefully I'll get my tushy in gear and get into that pile of paper.

I'm hoping I'll be able to find some scrappy time this weekend although I have no firm plans. I have a pile of recent purchases on my desk and I'm itching to play with them some more.

I have no specific plans as of yet, either. Hopefully I will be more on top of things than I was this weekend (I was supposed to be away scrapping and when it got cancelled I decided I would pretend I wasn't home and scrap all weekend anyway. Didn't happen) and will get some scrapping done!
All you ladies going to crops & retreats, have the best time ever!

I've decided it will have to be a great sale to get me to go out to the stamp store or a ton of new product. I got some new stuff on weekend and have 3 dies coming in. My crop that was to be today was cancelled so I have to get the cards done
There is a challenge on site I buy from to make a card and possibly win $50 so I plan to enter that. But waiting on my order so I have the die I néed to make it.
Really looking forward to Saturday

Even if you don't go to an official crop I think we should challenge ourselves to use some things from our stash. My goal is to use some old stuff as well as some of the new goodies from TM.

I know this might ruin plans for some people but I hope it's raining cats and dogs on NSD! That way I can sit in my craft room all day long without feeling guilty about not being out and about and getting other things done!
I got some photos printed this weekend and have a few pages formulating in my head. My sons new truck, my daughters ice fishing trip and I came across some old photos of my moms bowling team (she died in 77). I'm really going to try and get at least a couple of these completed.
Hope everyone has a great time no matter what your plans are.

I've been doing that a bit lately and have managed to use some ancient things on my last few layouts. I'm hoping to get a few more pieces of paper out of my stash with my next few layouts. I'm kind of hoping for this too!

I haven't scrapbooked since December. My room is a mess and that's killing my desire to create. I finally quit my crappy retail job a week ago and so now I'll actually have the energy and time to do some long overdue things around here including getting my craft/scrapbook room back in order. My wonderful DH got me the big Kallax I've been lemming after for years as an early birthday gift. It's still in the boxes in the garage waiting to be put together. We need to tear down a big computer desk first. With his schedule, it probably won't get put together for at least another few weeks or so. But that's okay. I've waited this long.
I've picked back up my cross stitching after a long 5 year hiatus and have been mostly concentrating on that since the beginning of the year. I've even started stitching on linen this time around. So glad I didn't get rid of all my stitching stuff.
I'm looking forward to NSD weekend. I'll be able to participate next Saturday morning, but have plans for the rest of the day. NSD has become one of my favorite "holidays". I just love all the excitement, sales, online crops, etc. and seeing everyone's projects.
ACOT is the only one that I know about that's doing anything for NSD. Never heard of ScrapGals before. Is that a new one?

Funny, I JUST finished putting a kit together with some super old papers from my scrap files that looked nice together. Well, some of the paper is super old (Mustard Moon - anyone remember them?!) and some of it is fairly new, like Studio Calico from last year. I mixed in some new Basic Grey chipboard goodies I bought at Tuesday Morning a few weeks ago and and some other fairly new embellishments… and then I pulled out some older sticker sheets that coordinated. I'm hoping to use it on NSD for a challenge or two. Also, I started a thread with a whole list of NSD online crops and activities, if anyone on here hasn't seen it. It just got bumped to the top

I went to one there several years ago and the house had a garage made into a ballet studio made into a cropping space. Just wondering.

I've also been to retreats in Woodland Park put on by Stampin' Up demonstrators. I haven't been to one in a while but I've got a serious itch to find another one!

My friend has crops she runs out of her home and she always has a big to do on NSD. I am kind of stressed because I am not sure I will be able to get all of my stuff ready by then. I like to pre-plan my pages and have everything ready to do (like power layouts) so I get something done.
