For some reason, I have very few shows that I watch. For a long time now I have stuck with what was on NBC--if there wasn't anything on that channel that I wanted to watch, I didn't watch anything. I record a few shows (Dr Oz, Dr Phil, Days of Our Lives) but have lost interest and there are probably much better shows to watch. So, I am going to venture to Netflix. I suppose I could watch/record other shows on tv as well, if I have some ideas of what is good. So, what are your favorites?

Well I am watching Orange is the New Black.. it's pretty racy but entertaining... I would NOT even attempt to watch when kids are remotely around!

I love Orange is the New Black. I also like Breaking Bad but I had to stop watching for awhile because I was having nightmares.
I am currently watching Gilmore Girls and am really enjoying it. My MIL and SIL have been watching Parenthood and they love it.

Unbreakable Kimmie Shmidt. I've only seen the first episode, but it's hilarious.
I never saw Gilmore Girls or Arrested Development when they were on TV. I like both; especially AD!

Life and Arrow. I watched Wentworth and I highly recommend it. However, if you think OITNB is gritty Wentworth is more so.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. It's produced in Australia, set in 1929 and is fun and flirty and well acted. There are 2 seasons and a 3rd coming

I'm looking forward to the new show "Grace and Frankie", starring Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. I think it's out next month.

I can't wait until the 3rd season; until then I'll just re-watch all the episodes from the first 2 seasons again and again.

Thanks! Is Downton Abbey on Netflix? I watched the first season a few years ago but thought the next seasons weren't on Netflix anymore.

I've just finished watching all 5 seasons of The Walking Dead. It's both awesome and gruesome:)
I don't watch much TV either so I'll be watching this thread with interest.

I've recently watched two very cute romantic comedies on Netflix... Barefoot and one Small Hitch. If you're at all into romantic comedies, I enjoyed them both immensely!

DH and I are re-watching them too. He has a crush on Phryne and I have one on Det. Jack Robinson!

Just binge watched Episodes, 3 seasons starring Matt Leblanc playing himself. It is very funny, my favourite scenes are whenever his cell phone rings (I want his ring tone) and when he was trying to find a guest star for his show.

Netflix has just arrived here in Australia. For now we seem to be stuck on House of Cards, but I'm trying to convince DH & DS that we need to expand our repertoire.

Wentworth....it's set in Australia....along the same line as Orange is the New Black... Interesting that you like it. It is a re-make of a show called Prisoner that was on here when I was young. It used to scare me to death. For some reason I can't get into Wentworth though.

We just started watching The Code. It's good -- a thriller/mystery/political corruption. A little confusing at first, but once you're introduced to all the characters it makes more sense. Filmed in Australia, and the videography is gorgeous.

I watch A LOT of Netflix. I stay/work at home and while the kids are at school I get lonely, so I watch Netflix in my office. I like to watch things that I've either seen before or something that is easy to follow, otherwise I won't get any work done. Some that I've watched recently(some might be from Amazon Prime):
Friends OITNB Gilmore Girls Chopped Kitchen Nightmares Restaurant: Impossible Law & Order: SVU West Wing Breaking Bad Scandal Grey's Anatomy Private Practice Desperate Housewives How I Met Your Mother (just started watching this, can't believe I never gave it a chance when it was new) Good Wife Raising Hope Parenthood New Girl

I mostly watch HGTV or Food type shows because they are short enough to watch while folding laundry and they are appropriate enough for anyone who may waltz in while I'm watching.
However, I was thrilled to see that Gilmore Girls is on there now, so if there's no one around to bother me, I watch those. I'm particularly loving watching the first 2 seasons because I haven't seen them in a long time.
Oh, and after Parenthood ended I went back and restarted that series, too, just because I was so sad that it was over.
