Years ago, you could sometimes find them at Dollar Tree. I've done googling, but what comes up is the envelopes that hold a single layout. These would hold about 50 pieces of paper. They had string at the top where you could fasten the envelope. I haven't been to Hobby Lobby, Joanns, or Michaels in a while. Do they still sell them? I did a search on Joann's, but I'm sure I'm not phrasing the name of the product right.

Michaels has them for $1.99 each or 12 for $13.99. I have about fifty of them and keep my layouts I am working on in them. I think the updated ones have a little white snap, but they are the same.

I was going to say the ones with the snap from Michaels also. They hold a lot.

I know what you mean! I have some. I think mine are made by Generations. Maybe that will help when you go looking.

Michaels's had them, except the last time I was looking for them recently they were nowhere to be found... I need more so should check again.

You can also vandalize those "magazine keeper" style found at JoAnns -- they have a large outer sleeve, 4 (maybe) 12x12 sleeves that fit inside the large one, and they come with several 12x12 index style dividers. Use a 40% coupon -- I use them for "projects" -- rather a lot of paper and cardstock fit in, flatter style embellishments -- then everything goes into the outer sleeve and stays well contained (for the several years it takes me to get to and finish the project!!)
Unless you are asking about the much thinner Generation (brand) envelope -- comes in colors with a string close flap -- but I don't think they would hold 50 sheets of paper? I recall seeing that kind at Michaels

I just use 2 gallon ziplock bags, which you can sometime also find at the dollar store and if not there, Walmart.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I think I might try the Joann's suggestion. There are a few embellishments I'd like to keep with some paper.

I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday getting ready for a disney (say cheese) NSD class (tracieclaiborne has really pumped me up with her magic memory keeper podcasts!) But I digress.
Hobby Lobby had a large selection of the Generations (brand) type of paper storage. The brand at the store is Paper Studio. 12x12 paper pockets sold singularly or in a larger package. There were also 12x12 pockets that had 2 smaller embellishment pockets attached to the outside of the larger 12x12 pocket.
I just checked the website and the paper storage is 50% off the coming week. April 27-May 2 2015.
