They have a really nice bagged kale salad for 2.50. I really wanted to like it. Sadly, the kale was the only part I didn't like.
Contents:
Broccoli Brussels sprouts Cabbage Kale Chicory Dried cranberries Roasted pumpkin seeds Poppyseed dressing

They have one that sounds exactly the same at Costco. DH loves it; I like it minus the dressing (too sweet).

I'd eat the dried cranberries.

We get that at Costco. I hate half of what's in it but some alchemy makes it amazing. I buy it all the time.
It's also good sautéed up in some olive oil and eaten hot with chicken or some brown rice for the vegan crowd.

We eat at least two bags of it per week - each bag is two dinner's worth. Love it! I've even brought it mixed up to a potluck and had people beg me for the recipe.

I have also been buying it at Costco for about twice the price. I saw it in Sams the other day but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to see what size bag it was. Usually the Costco prices for things like that are more but by weight, they are about the same price or slightly less. I wanted to check this too so I will know which store I should buy from. LOL

There is one at the grocery store that sounds the same and I love it. I've been looking for it at SAMs since they have some others by the same brand. I hope they have this one when I go this weekend!

There are two packages of dressing that are 4.63 oz. We don't use the dressing most of the time. I have another dressing that I like to use. DH makes a chicken salad out of leftover rotisserie chicken and we serve it over this salad mix. It is really good like this and adds some texture and crunch to the chicken salad.

ooh, I bought that same salad mix (it sounds the same, anyway) at the grocery store, and we really like it, too. I didn't know they had it at Costco-- and the rotisserie chicken idea is a great one!

I love that the veggie mix stay fresher longer than a bag of lettuce. It really is a great salad and the Costco one is about twice the size of Sam's.

We discovered this not too long ago, back during Super Bowl time. We were at a party and the host served it. I bought one bag at Costco because I wasn't sure we'd love it. I think that bag disappeared in two days. I do find the kale a bit hard to chew but I suppose that's part of what makes it healthy. Plus I'm less likely to eat too much if I have to work so hard at it. lol. I usually pick out the brussels sprouts, but the rest of my family likes them so they're not going to waste. -- Now I buy two bags at a time. I usually get a roast chicken to go along with one bag for dinner on the day I go shopping.

I get the Asian salad from SAMs club and I love it. I was going to try the kale salad but I just can't make myself like Brussels sprouts.

They don't really taste like dreaded brussel sprouts when raw and sliced thin. We love it and the Asian one as well. I think I've located comparable versions at each grocery I frequent. For some reason we do not like the Southwest one they sell.

Everything is chopped and combined.

Everything is chopped and combined. I bet you could. Is all the salad dressing added in upon buying, or do you add it when consuming? If you are adding it in when you eat it, then just take a few minutes and "play" with the salad mix to make sure the dressing is fully worked into the kale. It will begin to get darker in color and softer. I take my lunch daily and typically have a huge salad with kale and spinach. I pre-cut all my veggies on my salad so at lunch I just add my dressing, and massage my kale for a few minutes, then eat. I'm actually used to kale now, so I don't massage it much, but when i first started to eat it, it was hard to get used to without massage.

jenjie if you're buying the same Sam's salad I am- the kale softens a little when you make it ahead. I often eat leftover dressed salad the next day. "Marinating" in the dressing seems to have almost same effect as massaging it like dazeepetals says. The sproute and kale can take a lot of abuse. I've been putting it on sandwiches too, like slaw. Mainly because lettuce goes wasted around here. Not even my teens sons have mentioned it was strange.

DH loves that Costco kale salad.
I made the fatal mistake of getting a plain bag of chopped kale at Costco because I wanted to replicate a salad I'd had at a local restaurant. It could also be called the magical lifetime supply of chopped kale because I swear to God, I've made two HUGE salads with it and haven't even put a dent in the quantity. I think it must be replicating itself in the frig while we sleep.
