If you have the Ready Set Go collection by Amy Tangerine, what color album would you use? We are just.about.finished. with our year-long house remodel and I'm going to be making an album for it. I'll probably do 6x8 or maybe 8.5x11 and I'm partial to We R Memory Keepers and SNAP albums. I've ordered the collection pack, the Becky Higgins value pack and the 6x6 paper pad from Amazon. I was on a freeze when the collection first came out (spending money on the house!) and I like all the house motifs in the collection, so I think it will work well, but I haven't seen the products in person yet, just in various YouTube videos and LOs people have done, so I'm not sure what color album to get, so I thought I'd ask for suggestions.

My first thought was a woodgrain or dark brown.

My first thought was a woodgrain or dark brown. That was mine also.

Look at your Tuesday Morning if you have them. I got the woodgrain chevron for $7.99.

Thanks for the replies. I was at TM last wee and they didn't have any albums, but I'll keep an eye out. I'm thinking 6x8 or 8.5x11 for size, so that might make it more difficult. I know the album that was made to go with the collection was a woodgrain chevron, but I've only seen it in 12x12. Thanks for the replies!

I've never thought to coordinate the outside cover of an album with the pages inside! I always just buy navy blue albums, no matter what's in it. I'm quite boring, I guess!

If you have trouble finding a woodgrain in the smaller size, how about the Simple Stories Burlap Teal Chevron Binder? The texture on the album would look great with the Ready Set Go collection.

I love those burlap binders. I want to use one for my dec. daily next year (oh, this year!)

Yep, I have my eye on some of the SNAP binders. My order should be here any day. I think I really need to just see it in person.
As to coordinating the album and the inside, I only do it for albums that are "stand alone" projects like a wedding or a particular vacation, etc. I use the same color from year to year for PL (kiwi WRMK) and then each of my 3 kiddos has a color (pink, aqua and blue) for their albums regardless of what I'm putting in it. I think it also makes a difference in my case that my scrap space is in what's supposed to be my formal dining room (yeah, right, like I host dinner parties), so it's very visible from other rooms in my house. I like things to look organized and uniform. If my space was in the basement or in a guest room, I don't think I'd care as much and would be more likely to coordinate my albums with the collection used in them, especially for PL since there are some super cute albums.
