Just curious ==> Do you prefer to sit or stand while crafting / scrapping?
In our old house I had a 5 ft table and used an exercise ball as my chair. DH and I shared a space so most of my stuff was within reach. Cricut was on an old stereo cabinet with the glass door removed. When we moved, I got my own room. So after buying my Expedit shelves, re-purposing an armoire and buying desk I realized I like to stand. Plus my room has a great view and I can't see it if I sit. So I bought those plastic lifts that you put under a bed to raise it up. It's now the perfect height for me and I'm a happy crafter!

I'm kinda both. I like to sit and I like to stand. If I'm fiddling with little die cuts and what have you and die cutting I sit. For stamping I like to stand.

I'm a stander! I feel like I can see my page better when I stand.

I like the vantage point of standing, but there's no way my back could handle it. I'm a sitter.

I prefer to stand, I have a chair but I almost never use it. I get up and scrounge through my stuff all the time while I'm scrapping so it helps if I'm already up...
The lower table hurts my back after a while so I use an IKEA cart which is closer to counter height. The cart is kind of small so DH is going to build a table. It won't have storage underneath because I want it to roll out from the wall when I use it, but I think it will work.

I sit mostly, but have to stand up when I want to get things aligned straight. So I do this weird sit/stand/sit dance while I scrap! My tables though are all desk height. My island is counter height but I don't typically scrap at it, it's more for storage and for laying things out that I'm working on.

Another stander here, but my table is higher than a normal table (kinda countertop height). I have a bar stool that I use sometimes.

I sit. It takes me forever to finish anything so sitting helps my lowest back. I do need a better chair.

I like to sit. The best setup I had was a table DH built for me and an adjustable chair. I'd raise it up high so I could look over my projects from above them. Kind of like a standing view with the comfort of sitting. I had shelves above the table and drawers on both sides of the table. I loved scrapping in that space.

I prefer to sit at a regular desk, but I have a countertop knock-off project table from Target. I have a drafting chair that I sit at and it works fine, but I wish my feet touched the floor. That sometimes starts to annoy me after a long scrapping session. I will often stack a big pile of pillows under my desk to prop my feet up on and that is very comfy.

I do the sit stand sit routine also. I have a desk that I never use. The rest of my room is more counter height

Definitely a stander. I'm short so if I sit I just don't get a good view of my work. Especially for placement and centering things. I have IKEA desk legs that kind of look like saw horses. Can't remember what they are called but the are adjustable. So if I ever change my mind or get taller all of a sudden ? I can adjust the desk height.

I sit because I scrap on my coffee table while I watch tv.

Smart idea with the lifts.
I like to sit on my leg so I can reach farther.

I found an awesome pub height table at a yard sale for $10 a couple of years ago! It is about four feet square, but it has a "hidden leaf" in the middle that can expand it to about 4x6. It is the perfect height for standing, and I love working that way.

I stand to scrap. My primary work surface is a discontinued, counter-height, PB Bryce Project Table. A basic, black, saddle bar stool is nearby to lean against on occasion, while a slip-covered chair sits in a corner where I journal, sketch, etc. All supplies, except for diecut-related behind me & punches arranged in the lower drawer of my project table, are stored along an opposite wall. Standing allows me to move around the room, pull various supplies, & return them/tidy as I go!

I stand at my counter height project table at home. At crops, I sit but stand up for final placement and tacking things down. I prefer to stand though. It is freeing to move around at will to grab tools and whatever else is needed.

I start sitting down, but very quickly am in a standing position. I can "see" my stuff better.

I like to stand, but my table is at regular height so I end up sitting once I have everything where I want it. My table is adjustable tho, so I keep thinking I should raise it up.

I stand when at my desk but I actually like to spread everything out in the floor and work sitting down. Yes, its hard to get up from the floor sometimes but its worth it to spread everything out.

My project table is in between counter and bar-top height, and would work for standing. Maybe I'll give it a try. It never occurred to me to stand.

I do both... my desk is regular height, and I sit if I'm sifting through my supplies or cutting papers / photos, but if I'm gluing something down and want it to be straight, I end up having to stand.
