I got a big ol' kiln so I could do big ol' glass pieces but it's so big it's down in the basement and I don't enjoy going down there. So after using the big ol' new kiln about 4 times I'm going to get a smaller one I can keep on the main floor.

I hate squeegee-ing my shower! We had our bathroom renovated and it is beautiful and I'd like to keep the shower doors looking good, but what a drag to turn off the water and grab the squeegee instead of the towel.

Here is my day time first world problem. I gave up sugar. Everything I want to eat has sugar in it. Jen

I have to go grocery shopping, but my DH took our good car (the one with A/C) to work and I don't want to drive our other car to the store. So instead I'm laying on the couch watching Netflix.

Elannah, if nobody cooperates with the laundry, you might try drop kicking the bag down the stairs. I thought of that because I never carry the laundry down our own stairs. I can manage it to the balcony railing, then I drop it over and collect the bag from the living room floor.

Love this thread...makes me smile! My first world problem is that it seems I only buy shorts that have a cuff on them, and the cuff doesn't remain cuffed after one wash. The other problem is I'm not well acquainted with my iron and ironing board which I need to be in order to press those cuffs.

Someone mentioned Krispy Kreme in a prior thread, and now all I can think about is having a couple of KK donuts!! Our major metropolitan area does not have any Krispy Kreme stores, though! The horror!!

The horror!! Sorry, that was me. There really is NOTHING on this earth quite as good as a fresh off the line, hot, gooey with dripping icing Krispy Kreme donut. I could put down six of those easy. (Not that I would recommend anyone EVER doing that, but I'm just saying.) And now we don't have any of the stores here anymore either. Wah!

I have central heat and cooling. BUT, it isn't smart enough to do both. I have to turn on the heat or turn on the air. I'd like my house to stay between 74-76. Why can't my system be smart enough to know which it needs to run to keep the house at the correct temp? :::whine:: for now the house gets too warm during the day and too cool over night (we are talking 65-80)

I burned my neck with my curling iron. A 43 year old with a "hickey" is just gross! I've been walking with my hair pulled over my neck and head tilted so nobody sees it!

It is cool outside. There is pizza in the car. I could go put it in the fridge or leave it in the car. I know i will go get it. I am tired and sick of being bitched at by 70 year olds...

I didn't have a problem but now I do! I'm craving Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts now ( thanks ladies!) and there is neither on this island! Costco used to have KK flown in from Maui but they stopped doing it almost 2 years ago.

AT&T can't get Virgin Mobile to cooperate with the port of my son's cell phone number and it's been in limbo for 4 days now.

She's obviously a very young and modern minded 87 year old who thinks her daughter is elegant and fashionable and really admires your choice of shoes. However, if she is going to wear them to the same event then you have permission to go shopping for another pair.....if you need any help just shout - I'm already looking at a shoe catalogue so as to be ready!!

But I could never fit half of my foot in her tiny, gorgeous shoes.... Take it as a compliment! She probably loved your sandals so much she needed them for herself. It's credit to your amazing taste in sandals

I went and got breakfast from work - oatmeal and milk. Sat down started eating and then got caught up with a spreadsheet. Now my oatmeal is cold and my milk is warm.

I am obsessed with finishing my conversion from craft to Lego room by tonight. The dishes have piled up and the dogs keeping their distance. Plus the Lowes and Home Depot people take forever to appear and only seem to have one when I need two or are out of the items I must have this moment!
Now I have to take time out this project to get a hair cut since I look like a character from Babylon 5 or Chewbacca from Star Wars.
