They are apparently teaming up for a monthly kit. I'm looking forward to seeing more about it since I love Basic Gray (or at least I used to when I bought a lot of their paper) and maybe if I get it in kit format it would be more fun to use (I love kits!). PaperFix

I am very excited about this too! Hopefully it won't be too expensive.

II signed up for the email alert because I'm interested to see what they offer. I can't justify adding a kit so it would have to be great to replace what I already get.

I think BG used to do more custom stuff for Studio Calico - at least, when I was getting their kits a couple of years ago, there would be alpha stickers and papers that weren't part of other lines I think?
I really liked it then, and I think they could make this work!

I am looking forward to seeing what they offer. BG really does a nice variety of designs and I like nearly everything they come out with. And I am very interested in a kit that offers a cut file along with it. I do like my current club (SC) but I would like to add one more small club for a little more variety, so I will definitely be looking closely at this one.

I was curious and looked at the Paperfix website, as I hadn't received any email about it yet (thought the announcement was going to be today by email). Looks like they have the kit info out there - starts in July, $30 + $7.50 shipping if you subscribe for 12 mos. The kit looks nice, although more stickers than I am interested in. I do like the quantity of patterned papers and think that if it comes with cut files to use with my Silhouette, that really adds value. Just not sure that I am ready to commit for 12 mos. though.... I may just buy the 1 month and start from there.
Curious what others think of it??

That seems like alot of stuff in the kit and I could see it piling up faster than I could do anything with. I would have been ok with a little less paper and a little less price. I'll have to think about it. Then they have an add on, which would surely be a no less than $50 purchase if I wanted that too. I will have to think about it.

I subscribe to all 3 SC main kits, so if I could pick one of those to give up, I would probably substitute with this one.

@shells004 , they did send out an email this afternoon but maybe after you had checked and posted?
I'm not sold yet but as I said, I'm not looking to buy anything new unless I stop what I've currently subscribed to.

I got the email yesterday. I've never subscribed to any kits, and probably never will. Part of the fun with scrapbooking for me is shopping for this and that, then putting together combinations and ideas from my stash. This looks like a nice kit, though, and I love Basic Grey.

I am going to watch it for a few months and see. I wish they included a few sheets of cardstock with it too. At least they give you 2 skips with the 12 month subscription.

It actually looks pretty nice...12 sheets of patterned paper is a lot! I really haven't been a fan of BasicGrey in quite awhile though. I find their papers too tough to use. Which is funny because back when I started scrapping they were on of my faves and I have a lot of earlier layouts done in their first collections. To this day I still LOVE Lollipop Shoppe.

I got the emails too. It's just not for me, and that is mostly because 1- I don't need monthly scrap kit right now, 2- I don't think they make enough variety of products to satisfy my taste.

I got the latest email canceling the partnership between basic grey and paper fix. I was looking forward to getting these kits. Do the peas have any kit recommendations for similar kits?

Maybe not enough people signed up? You have to admit, a 12 month commitment with no track record, and nothing but a couple of pictures of the first kit, how many people are going to jump on board?
