Yesterday I said I would eat well this week. Tonight is veal scaloppine with angel hair pasta and broccoli.
Lunches for the next few days will be chicken with orzo, spinach, tomatoes and olives.

We visited my DD where she's studying at uni today and had Tapas for lunch so it'll be something simple for supper.....jacket potato and a portion of bolognese sauce from the freezer maybe.

I'm coming to your house, akathy! seriously, I have stuffed peppers in the oven and brown rice cooking to make vegetable fried rice. I have some thick country style pork ribs to put on the grill with AhSo sauce. If you've never heard of AhSo sauce, my condolences...seriously it's a red sweet thick sauce that makes food taste yummy. It's especially good on chicken and pork that is cooked on the barbecue!

Baked tilapia and steamed Normandy vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli). (But I would rather have what AKathy is having, so she needs to set the table for 2 more )

We're going to visit MIL in the hospital late this afternoon ... she's having surgery tomorrow which is pretty serious considering she is 75 ... we'll pick up take-out after ... I'm hoping for burritos but it will probably be McDonald's ... at least I don't have to cook

It's our anniversary and we are having bacon cheeseburgers with the leftover sauteed onions and mushrooms from yesterday, pasta salad that I made earlier today, and baked beans that I will start working on in an hour or so. Last night, we went out for frozen yogurt, I'm working on a return trip tonight!

Problem is green beans with cheese is the only vegetable he'll eat other than corn and potatoes. He'd much rather eat just meat

We are having pork chops and sides that I haven't decided on yet. Boring, but I've been having contractions and early labor since Saturday at 1:30am so it's all I feel like doing today!

Well I have been up forever today ( had to take my husband to the airport super early) ..and am so tired that i am not even hungry, so therefore I can't quite decide what everyone else is going to eat. I have changed my mind a couple of times, but think I have settled on breakfast burritos and fried potatoes on the side. The kids will love it and it will be a fairly quick meal too

I have a hankering for potato soup. Chicken bullion base with potatoes, onions, tomatoes and green chilies, topped with cheese and eaten with warm flour tortillas. I make this when I'm lazy and hungery.

Thanks for the recipe link. It looks similar to a marinade that I use for chicken thighs. I may try subbing the sesame oil for salad oil next time.
