Probably should have asked this BEFORE I just ordered a pair - but what style do you have and like?
We're going to WDW in July and I just invested in some Chaco sandals for my daughters. Dang those are expensive! Was planning to get myself a pair too but the sole just didn't feel right on my foot.
I already have a pair of Keens I plan to bring but they are a closed toe style (Newport H2) and I wanted something a little lighter and more open as an alternative. Hoping to avoid having to wear tennis shoes altogether!
I considered the Teva Verra and Terra Fi Lite but ended up ordering a pair of the Tirra style. Not super attractive - neither are Chacos in my opinion, although I actually liked the looks of Chacos a bit more. I'm just hoping they will prove to be worth it for my feet.

I have the Neota style in leather. They are VERY comfortable!

I just got a new pair of the Terra Fi Lite for WDW next month. I've been breaking them in, and the fit well. I watched Amazon until I found a palatable price.

I've had the Alps (which I'm not sure if they make anymore) and the Original Universal. Both great and comfy.

I will. I wore Tevas my last Disney/Universal trip, too. They would have been the Teva Women's Hurricane XLT Sandal - probably an old style. I like that they can be adjusted every which-a-way for a good fit. I usually also carry Dr. Scholl's Blister Defense Stick in my purse when I am walking for an extended amount of time.

Not a Teva fan, but my sister is. She likes the Olowahu.

Love this thread - marking my spot to go google all these sandals (wish you all would include pictures). I'm wondering what to wear for our august trip to wdw.
Edited: Okay I did my google search. They all look comfortable, but I was hoping for something more fashionable. I have big feet (size 10) and I don't want to look like I'm wearing men's sandals.

For those of you that own Teva, how well do they stay on your feet? Like if you had to run after a kid that's super quick? That's my basis for purchasing shoes.

Teva's feel funny on my feet. The last 3 summers I've worn Khombu's and the support is wonderful. They are more like athletic shoes supportwise but cool like sandals. I frequent WDW in the summer and swear by them. Just don't get wet feet, all shoes are different when wet and "can" cause blisters! I use waterproof tape (the tan tape that looks like band aids by Nexcare) for sore spots after having wet sandals rub funny in otherwise perfect sandals, shoes, etc.

And this is why I went with Chacos. Really cute coral pair. AND I have size 10 feet also. Just in case you want to peek. Still don't know how to post a pic here. Sabrina, you can't beat Skechers. I have an elastic lace pair and 2 pairs of Go Walks. I have major foot pain/problems and those are my pain day shoes.

I have such a difficult time finding cute shoes that don't hurt my feet. These Skechers and a pair of Croc sandals are the only "dressy" shoes I can wear. Besides these I have to wear my Brooks tennis shoes. UGH. www.zappos.com/crocs-edie-stretch-sandal-black-black

Yep, as I said in my OP, unfortunately none of them are all that attractive... but my first priority is comfort on this trip. It's going to be hot, humid, it will probably rain, and it's going to feel like I'm on my feet for 6 days straight. I did go for a "girly" color to try and avoid the men's sandals look as much as possible! The Hurricane XLT looks a lot like the Terra Fi to me - just with less padding under the straps maybe? Thanks for the Blister Defense Stick tip!

I get a new pair of Teva Olawahu flip flops every year. They are incredibly comfortable.

I get a new pair of Teva Olawahu flip flops every year. They are incredibly comfortable. See, those are actually cute! Sadly, I can't walk around all day at WDW in flip flops... Really needed something with a heel strap and a bit more support. Have you ever tried the Mush II flips? Teva is running a special right now and I got a free pair of those with my order. Wish the Olowahu had been offered!
