I have a love/hate relationship with this show. Some episodes are compelling but other ones I want to scream. Just watched last Monday night's episode and I really detest what they are doing to Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon). I have a feeling there won't be a season #4 so I'm not sure how it will end in a few weeks. Anyone else hanging on?
ETA: Just saw that it has been officially cancelled. There will probably be a big cliff hanger. I hate when that happens.
ETA: The TV guide says *Series Finale* in the description of this Monday's episodes. I wonder if that means they wrap it up??? Otherwise, wouldn't it say season finale? Or is that wishful thinking?

I love it just because it is just so ludicrous. I too wonder how this will end, I hope they know it is going to end so it can wrap itself up.

I am glad that Joe finally got his just rewards, but goodness gracious, who knew that the community of sicko serial killers was so small that they were all friends?  Although, and surely I am not the only one who thinks this...but Kevin Bacon has a way of entering a room that I fully expect him one day to come through the door, slide across the room on his knees and start singing "EVERYBODY FOOTLOOSE!!" |

Although, and surely I am not the only one who thinks this... but Kevin Bacon has a way of entering a room that I fully expect him one day to come through the door, slide across the room on his knees and start singing "EVERYBODY FOOTLOOSE!!" On the other hand, I think HE'S afraid he'll walk in to a room and slit someone's throat. I wish they hadn't *gone there* with the pregnant girlfriend. Anyone thinks she has any chance of living? |

So will Luke/Mark show up for the finale. He's kind of been on the back burner. What was the purpose of the blond killing that man several episodes ago when Luke showed up? I must have missed something.
And, speaking of Joe's execution. Did you notice the one attendant was acting funny and then slipped out of the room. It looked like he was making a phone call. Is it possible he put other drugs in the death cocktail and Joe isn't really dead? Seems that's been done before but I couldn't remember if it was this show.

Thanx so much for this thread! It just made me realize that I never watched last week! Now I'm remembering that I missed the first 10 min. picking up my son (damn Scout meeting!) so I didn't bother to watch it, figuring I would catch it OnDemand later in the week. And I completely forgot. I need to catch up before tonite's episode!
And in case you couldn't tell, I am still watching. I do still like it, but I think it's lost a lot of it's zing. One of the things I loved from the first season was how in most, if not all, of the episodes, there was someone who you might not have suspected who turned out to be a Follower. This isn't the case anymore. I miss that.
I guess they all know each other because Strauss 'educated' them all?
And yeah, I thought the doctor girlfriend was either going to die soon (sending Ryan over the edge) or was a Follower.
I hadn't heard it was ending and will confess that if it goes into a fourth season, I'll hang on. As long as there isn't something better on Monday nites at 9:00.

Yeah, this is one of the shows I want to give up on too. The killing and ugliness of it gets to me, the stupidity of the FBI gets to me. It's just too much. At this point, I say hey, let Kevin Bacon go down the dark side and be the new Joe. Why not? Revenge is another one I gave up on this season. I LOVED that show the first two seasons, but it just got too ridiculous. I heard it was cancelled and that May 10 is the last episode. I wish they hadn't done it that way (unless they knew before filming that May 10 was the last). I really want the loose ends wrapped up and I want Amanda and Nolan, and yeah, I guess Jack too, to have happy endings. And I want Victoria dead or something equally as awful.  |

Yeah, we stopped after season 2 I think ~ or maybe 3, can't remember. Sometimes when DH and/or DS are DONE with a show I will continue such as The Following. I also loved Revenge and gave up after 2 seasons. I will watch the finale and see if I can follow along.

I'm kind of sad that it's over because I was really hoping they'd shape it up next season. Oh well.
I'm wondering how they'll wrap things up. I'm hoping they knew it was their last season when they decided to cancel so it will all come to an end nicely. If not, we'll be left hanging for all eternity.
As for Revenge, ABC has Comcast to thank for my not watching anymore. I took a hiatus to watch The Walking Dead and when I tried to come back, not all the episodes I had missed were available to watch, so I had to bail. They annoy me to no end.

I'm just now catching up- still have 2 episodes to go. I think they had the wrong premise to start with- there was nowhere for it to go. They just created more followers and/or students and teachers-got old. And not to mention the ridiculousness of the FBI. Now, let me rewrite the show-LOL. Joe is some sort of serial killer and Ryan catches him and he goes prison. Then Ryan uses him to help catch more sickos- a different one each week. They can still have their dysfunctional relationship. It should have a more psychological feel to it- not just random killing.

It's been cancelled. Not sure if they had enough notice to make a satisfactory ending or not. Personally I'm just glad it's over. I couldn't just dump it but wasn't loving it any more.

It's in my title. But I'm just hoping somehow they managed to give us some closure. They might have shot two endings since it was looking like they wouldn't get a 4th season. We can always hope. I agree with wanting it over. |
