I really liked the show and will watch if they have a new series next season. I, also, didn't like Cornel or the wife, but they both played their parts well. I hadn't been watching the Cornell Confidentials either, but watched last night's this morning. It was less than 5 minutes long. Couldn't they have found a way to include it, rather than having to go online? Must be they didn't think so. I never watch the webisodes for TV shows either. I wonder what I've been missing?

And while I understand why Ben felt at least partially responsible for his dd's actions and I cannot imagine turning your kid in, I hate what he did. He needed to be there for his other dd too. Plus, his DD needed to face the consequences and get help. Society needed to be protected from her. He seemed like a really good dad, but the biggest sacrifice he made was ultimately his worst parenting decision ever. I think he believed Abby's story that it was an accident and didn't want her life to be ruined because of it, plus felt some responsibility because she had overheard him and his wife arguing about Jess. He believed it right up until the point where Cornell said Tom had been hit six times - you could see a flicker of shock in his eyes. By then, I guess he thought it was too late to change his story?

Sorry Conchita, I keep getting the girls' names mixed up--yes, it was the older sister, Natalie, who told Cornell during the Cornell Confidential, that her sister was the murderer. Ben definitely died but you don't know that without watching the webisode. I was confused at first because Natalie and Dave spoke of Ben in the past tense ("he would gave been so proud of you Natalie"--why can't he still be proud of her from prison?), but then they came out and said something about him dying. While my initial reaction was murder in prison, maybe he did get executed. If you have a guy without a lawyer, who confesses to the crime and refuses any appeals, maybe it could go through that quickly? I agree with the pea who didn't like the way they used the webisodes. This was the only webisode I watched and I don't like that I had to do that. I'm hoping next season they don't do that, at least with significant plot details--just put them in the damn show! I really liked this show and am excited about the next season. I love a mystery and I love that the mystery is resolved at the end of the season. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. I also wouldn't be surprised if they at least reference this season's ending at the beginning of next season. I'm kind of hoping they do that. I know some things got a little carried away (the torture scene) but I still enjoyed it overall. What did they say about him dying? I thought it was cagey.. so you aren't sure if he is dead or just in prison. I think it is way too far fetched... The girl seemed a little off.. but to murder another child..and not to have had any violent episodes before? If she did have violent episodes they definitely would have come out in the investigation! I guess they didn't come out say he died. But everything was past tense--"he would have been proud of you", "he loved his family". Also, when they talked about going after Abby for the murder, no one said anything about setting Ben free, they just talked about clearing his name. Lastly, Cornell said "he's gone now". I think they made it very clear he's dead. If next season comes around and he's alive then I call some serious BS on this webisode. Also, while I believe Ben initially thought that it was a mistake (who wouldn't believe that or want to of their own child) I think, as someone else mentioned, he knew the truth when Cornell said he was hit six times. He could have changed his mind then; that was what she was hoping for when she revealed those details; but he didn't. That was a terrible choice. And yes, I forgot to even talk about Abby saying if only she could have got Ben to the river. I'm sure her meaning there was, he would have drowned, it wouldn't have been considered murder and her dad wouldn't be going to prison. It was cold and calculated and her mom knew it. And yet she was fine leaving her psycho child out on the loose. I hope we find out the fate of Abby and that someone confirms in plain language that Ben is dead.

I thought from time to time that it was Abby, but kept hoping that was wrong.
I never watched the Cornell Confidentials thing. I just want to watch the tv show. Going online for me seems like "homework" or something to me. LOL

I am not a fan of the way they ended this show.. and I just have a feeling they will some how make those remarks to mean he is not dead next season... Kind of like Bobby Ewing and the dream!!

Was that that finale? I thought there was another show? Yeah, I thought there was one more episode... It was the finale, it was very confusing. I thought while watching it that there might be another episode. It wraps up in the Cornell Confidentials and I think that is where the confusion was for me. I think they made mention of that during the show.

Now that I've gone back and connected each Cornell Confidential with each episode - they gave TONS of clues to the show in those clips. They are all under five minutes. I find it hard to believe they didn't have time to fit that into the show. They are just looking for website clicks. Stupid.
