I'm sorry, I would be worried too. Hope he's ok and you can get answers from your vet.

He's probably a bit sick from the people food that he ate. Keep an eye on him. Excessive panting can indicate pain. But dogs throw up foam all the time. A dog's stomach is made to throw up what disagrees with it. Talk to the vet tomorrow, but if he's eating and drinking with no more vomiting, he's probably over whatever it was.

It's so scary when our dogs are sick. How I wish they could tell us what hurts/how they feel. If he's keeping food and water down and peeing and pooping without problems, maybe put him on a bland diet for a few days - white rice/cottage cheese/boiled chicken breast.
It's not unusual for dogs to throw up foamy bile. Just make sure he keeps hydrated. You can check by pinching the skin on his neck and if it immediately goes down he's OK, if it stays up then he's dehydrated and might need an IV of fluids.
Keep us posted on his progress.

Update He drank and ate. Seems to be a little better than before. Kept food down for over an hour so far and was interested in what I was eating. Hoping he just had a bout of indigestion and schedule thrown off with "dad" being gone and up late with sick kid in the house. I am quite worried about my dog and would appreciate good thoughts, prayers if you'd be so kind. My dh is out of town for the week and regular vet is closed. My dog is a Boxer mix, but not deep chested. So whatever it is, it's probably not bloat. My dog, George, is an eater. He counter cruises, among other things. We had a party on Saturday. While we were gone, George pulled buns off the counter. My bil came in and found 4-5 buns eaten. We took the remaining buns and tossed them. The only other thing he got was an ear of corn, which only had a bite out of it. A small bite. Sunday I walked George and he was fine. Went to the bathroom several times. Didn't walk him yesterday, but he ate his food. Today he threw up foam, twice. Didn't eat his food. Was very lethargic and somewhat shaky. I immediately thought of the corn and obstruction so I called my bil and asked if he was certain George didn't get the corn. He confirmed that the ear was on the ground but the majority was intact. I was able to get him to take a brief walk but he was slow and wanted to sit (not normal). He did poop and I felt a small (pebble size cob piece). He perked up a bit and we walked on. Then he slowed down again so I took him home. He did drink two dishes of water and has not vomitted since. He never threw up food or had smelly puke. Emergency vet on call said if he drinks and doesn't throw up, it's a positive sign. I am trying to get him in to regular vet tomorrow. I don't know what else he could have eaten since all the trash was accounted for. I hope he can pass any nonsense he got into or be easily treatable....good thoughts please. It sounds as if you have already considered torsion... But I do know that boxers can have very sensitive stomachs..... I have actually given my dogs tums before!!! It Does seem like he was in distress.... Hope all is better mow

I hope that he is quickly on the mend. It is worrisome when our furbabies are out of sorts.
