Is anyone else but me having a difficult time transitioning from the brick/mortar store to online? To me it just isn't right to purchase from them online. I do miss the store. I miss walking around and seeing what they have whether it merchandise that hasn't moved or new stuff. Anyhow, I'm on their email list and look through what they share, but haven't purchased anything.

They didn't have a store near me, if they had, Archivers would still be in business!

I didn't even realize they still had an online store. The "real" store closest to me closed prior to the last round of closings, so I hadn't thought of Archivers in a while.

I loved walking around Archivers and taking in all the newest, latest and greatest. I just can't get that same satisfaction online. I really miss the brick and mortal store. I walked in the Mall every day and finished up at Archivers. Great exercise for my body and my credit card.

I think there are better places to shop online, with better prices, better shipping costs, better sales, and better loyalty rewards.
If my brick & mortar store was still here, I'd for sure still be shopping at Archivers. But since it's not, I've found much better places to shop for scrappy goodies online!

Nylene, that sounds like Heaven! I'm sure my wallet would have disagreed (and DH as well). Lol!

I haven't shopped on their on-line store. I was a regular at their brick and mortar store though. Since it closed, I have not made a single scrapbook supply purchase.

I miss the brick and mortar stores, too. My checkbook is happier! I did make a small purchase when they had free shipping on NSB day.

Awww yes, my checkbook is also happier. I've gone into Michael's and not purchased anything there. I just miss the set up that Archivers had. Oh well, maybe something else will come along!

I miss the store too. My friends and I would get together weekly there and use their work room. It was so nice to get up and grab the perfect ribbon or whatever we needed. This is from another thread I posted on: I have ordered from Arhivers Annex online and am happy with the service. I asked them if they were closing too, and they said they weren't, that they were changing ownership and would remain archiversannex, but that the name may change at some point. They said they are in it for the long haul. I also have ordered from Scrapbook.com and Joanns.com and have been happy.

I have not ordered from them online. I prefer brick and mortar lss. If I did need to order online, it probably would not be from Archivers. I think there are better selections and prices at other online stores.

I too loved the store..the brick and mortar store that is. Knowing that they kept online open and closed the actual stores, in some strange way I felt betrayed. I just do not have a desire to shop there.
Maybe I need to just get over it, but I guess I do not want to yet.
I have been buying from ACOT. Happy with the service there.

I miss the store too. I was actually at the shopping plaza it was located in and its still sitting empty. Sad!
I have not shopped their online store. I like to see and touch what I buy and hate paying shipping. I imagine someday it will come down to online shopping but for now I still have at least 1 good store that carries supplies besides HL, M's or J's.

Hey, Ginger! Don't know if you remember me (back in the ILScrappers days ). Have you tried CraftFancy in Arlington Hts or Hannah's in Antioch? Both have great selections of paper crafting products! Not sure how far you are from these stores but if you're in the neighborhood next time, check it out

Hi Margie!
I've actually been to both. I do like both of them, but don't always have the chance to get to them. I am just feeling bummed about Archivers!!

I am also still grieving over Archivers closing. When the store announced it was closing, the annex was bought by a new company, which is why the name may soon change.

I miss the stores - dd and I would stop at one outside of Memphis every year taking her to and from college - we always came out with stuff, and I would go when I was in Minneapolis on business. they always had good stuff and good ideas. the online store doesn't do anything for me.

I was coming in to say I thought a new company bought the website when the physical stores closed
