I want the pattern for that gorgeous baby blanket she was wrapped in. I want one! I don't care if it gets covered in spit up, it is beautiful.

Oh, I'm sure I got those bonnets on my girls correctly only about half the time - there's no rhyme nor reason to which way they're "supposed" to go! Both openings are extremely similar.  |

She's still adorable. I wouldn't have thought it was backwards anyway. I was more bothered that the bonnet and blanket were two different whites.  |

I'm more bothered about the fact that Yahoo says 'Princess Charlotte, daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William' than whether the baby wore her bonnet backwards!  The Duchess of Cambridge hasn't been called that for a long time now, she doesn't still call herself 'Middleton' and I just wish Yahoo, and others, would stop calling her that in articles!! It's irritating!!  |

The Duchess of Cambridge is 33 years old for goodness sake not some teen first time mum! |

Wouldn't the little ties be near the back of her neck if you put it on the other way around?

Wouldn't the little ties be near the back of her neck if you put it on the other way around? No, the bonnet could be turned so the tie channel runs around the face and the ties end up under the chin. I think!......I can 'see' it working like that anyway! |

As long as I get to see more Princess Charlotte pictures I don't care if her clothes are on backwards! I think those first photos are the only ones going to be seen for a while, apart from the official Christening photograph, because the Cambridges will keep things as private as possible for Princess Charlotte as she grows up, as they are doing for Prince George. Some members of the papparazi have already followed them to their house in Norfolk, which is near to the Air Ambulance station where Prince William works, and have had to be warned off and moved because of the disruption and distress they were causing to the Cambridges and the local residents.  |

Perhaps the British rules/guidelines are different? It's weird (I can think of other not-as-nice words) to assume that American guidelines for American citizens on American roads apply in other countries.

No the guidelines and the law is rear facing here up too up to the age of 15 months normally depending on their height and weight and which type of car seat you have. They must also be in a child approved car seat until they're approx 12 years old but again it depends on their weight and height But to be honest I haven't seen one photo to confirm that he put that seat forward facing when he took Prince George home. The only photo I have seen, clearly shows the back of the seat facing the front. |
