What do you call one of these things? I am searching on Walmart.ca and Canadiantire.ca and those two stores would sell what I am looking for. I just don't know what they are called.
Help!

Don't you work in a clothing retail store?

I googled "board for folding tshirts" and got several on Amazon. One seems to be packable for traveling- not sure why that's a plus.
ETA there is also an instructable to make one of cardboard.

Amazon.ca has what I am looking for.
Cindy, I am sorry my store doesn't meet your needs. In layman's terms I have a broken arm. That means there are 3 broken bones in my arm. I don't fold anything at all. It's a pain in the neck. Would you like a video of me trying to fold something? The cast is blue and fibreglass.

The container store is where I got mine. Mine too. I think it's called the FlipFold? I, too know how to fold a shirt, but my shirts look so much nicer when I use the folder.

You folded yhe shirt around it and the pulled it out the top. It made the shirts uniform in size. Op, I ordered my dad one from amazon

There are Container Stores in Seattle. You take a little vacation and pick one up.

Yes I would love to go to Seattle for a couple of days...getting there is a problem right now.
I can't sign my own name. I have a quasi signature with my right hand but it looks kind of funny! Learning to eat right handed was funny too.

Middle finger on the left hand and my right hand for the rest. Scaphoid and two bones in my pinky. I have an "ulnar gutter" as well. I think that refers to what the cast is supposed to do for my little finger, right? The good news is it doesn't hurt anymore...2000000 billion T3s later before 3 casts. 2 sets of X-rays and a whole lot of pain to get this far. (Washing my hair in the shower would be a treat ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ) Today my BFF reminded me I have broken my wrist 2x in 3 years. She thinks I will do it again. I cannot do this again! This is insane. ****** I lied. My wrist is hurting tonight. I had to fold some clothes at home (you can laugh now) and now it hurts. Having a cast on your dominant hand really makes you think! I have had to adjust everything. I can't lift anything with just my right hand. I can't write. I can't eat/cut without using my left hand so someone has to cut my food for me. It's quite amazing. I am not sad, angry, pissed off, or anything about it. It just is life right now. I don't recommend falling to anyone under any circumstances! It happened after many nights of no sleep and voila a wrecked wrist. Please be careful!

I had a Flipfold board like Sheldon uses (or at least a cheap version of one), and I loved it but the joints eventually broke, and even after a duct tape repair it was never the same again and I binned it. I've since bought the Brabantia board which doesn't flip, but still creates a really good uniform pile of folded clothes, ideal once folded in half again for the 'file it, don't pile it' method of tshirt draw maintenance discussed on here elsewhere . The Brabantia would probably be the easiest thing in the world to make yourself, but I'm too lazy. I believe shirt folding boards of this simple type are fairly commonly used in certain clothes stores...it's not a question of being unable to fold with out one, but they do take the guess work out of turning a pile of differently sized clothes in to a neat and uniform stack for display purposes. OP, I hope your arm heals soon.
