UPDATE:
I got the information wrong, so sorry. The company needing a photographer is listed below. Yikes! DD's would flip if she realized her mom was such a goof.
My dd is currently interning for Kate Spade in NYC, and she is looking for photographers to shoot products for their company website in the coming weeks. I don't know anymore than that about the position, but I can put you in touch with her if you're interested. Peamail me for more information.

How strange that the company doesn't have a commercial photographer already in mind for a brand that huge. This is very odd. You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a professional photographer. At that level the company would most likely be dealing with a photographer's agent. My BIL shoots national/international commercial and editorial and everything goes through his agent. They haven't given her any other info? Just that they're looking for someone to shoot web photos? I would imagine they're going to want someone with extensive product shot experience. |

Yeah, it does seem kind of odd, huh? I'll talk to her tonight and get some more details. She's interned for them since January, and does so three days a week for about 9 hours a day, so she tends to have quite a bit of responsibility. Everything she has worked on so far has been loads of fun for her, and she speaks so highly of this company, that I would be very surprised if this were anything but legitimate. I'm not sure of any more than my original post, but I'll find out whatever else I can and post later.

Okay, I just messaged her. My bad. It looks like it's not for her Kate Spade internship, it's for another smaller part time internship that she just started for the summer, one of two actually. Man, that girl is going to be busy. It would be for a small, bath and home product company, that sells baby blankets, towels, and other linens. I can definitely send your information to her or vice versa if anyone is interested, but it is for sure shooting photos of products for their website.
