I really want one of the old Tupperware canister sets. My mom had the olive green ones and she gave them to me years ago. I was young and dumb and didn't appreciate them the way I should have and got rid of them. Now I want them again. I am looking for them at garage sales and I suppose I could go to Arc or Goodwill. But I was looking at these current tupperware cannistersDoes anybody have them? Are they as good? Do they seal? I want to put flour and sugar in them.

You're talking about the ones with lids that had ridges all around the circle? I've not used the ones in the picture but I do use Tupperware's Modular Mates and really like them.

Try Ebay! I've purchased lots of older Tupperware on there.

I have those tupperware canisters and they work good. Mine are probably 15 years old and still in great shape.
I do wish that they were square. I don't have them on my counter...so I kinda prefer the modular mates for my flour/sugar.

I have an orange set that belonged to my grandma. Reminds me of her and her delicious apple pies every time I use them! I hope you find some!

I found one of the extra large orange containers ( ridges on lid) next to the recycling bin in town . Even though it doesn't matcgh my kitchen, I just couldn't leave it there!! It resides in my pantry where only I see the wrong color.

I have the modular mates with the creamy pink lids and I love the way they nest in my pantry. I also have 5 of the big cereal containers, also with the creamy pink lids. I love them all!

I wish I could get a set of the yellow circular ones. My mom had these and one day while she was gone, I decided to bake a cake as a young teen and surprise her. I carefully measured everything out and got it into the oven and then I smelled burning plastic.
I left the canisters of flour and sugar on top of the stove and the heat from the oven melted out the bottoms of the canisters.
The smell was horrible and the mess was worse. She wasn't mad at me but I could tell how disappointed she was because she loved those canisters.
I use gallon mason jars to store all my dry goods.

I have a set of the ones you linked. They were a gift. I don't love them. The lids are a little fiddly, and, whatever that picture says otherwise, after you wash them, it is actually hard to see through the more "clear" plastic if you want to know what is inside.

For those of you who use modular mates or the square ones can you get a 1 cup measuring cup inside?

I have the Blue Tupperware with Servalier Push Lids (ridges) but I had 4 - Flour, Sugar, Coffee and Tea. I still am using them to this day and I know they are over 30 years old because I got them before DH and I got married. I have so much Tupperware that one cabinet is designated "The Tupperware Cabinet" in the kitchen.

I found a couple of the old canisters at a thrift store. I think I have a yellow and avocado green one. But my co-worker didn't want her dark blue set any longer, so she gave them to me. My BFF had the orange set and she wanted the blue, I wanted the orange, so we traded. I asked my BFF where she got the whole set of orange ones and she said the thrift store. I have a whole cabinet of Tupperware that I was finding at the thrift stores. I even loaded up a couple of co-workers who were on the search for some of the older stuff.

I use the square and rectangular modular mates with a pink lid. I bought them as a "hostess" ... years (at least 25 since they were bought with some child things for DS) ago. They are still going strong! It is the only time I purchased Tupperware.

I had brown ones with the ridgey lids when we got married. On several of them the lids eventually broke through and I could not get brown replacement lids. I think they gave me white replacement lids. I ended up Goodwill'ing them because they didn't match.

My mother had those - green, I think. I wonder if she still has them.
I went all Modular Mates when my kids were little - over 20 years ago. Blue lids (which I don't think are available anymore). I loved looking into my cabinets and seeing how orderly everything was!.
Today, I am washing them all out to put in storage while I roam the country for a bit. Could not part with them!

I received the orange ones for a wedding shower gift 35 years ago! My DD used them for a while, but she donated then to our church garage sale last year.
They did seal really nicely. I prefer my OXO square containers.

I have the clear ones with the Williamsburg blue servalier lids. I love them!!! I bought my niece a set of the gold ones at an auction. She was thrilled! She loves vintage Tupperware! Who would have ever thought people would collect old Tupperware.
